COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

11.3 oz bottle. Said 8.5% on bottle, not 9%. Very dark amber color when poured. Strong flavor, and a very great aroma. Slight fruity and malty flavor.

Bottle. Rich amber-brown beer with a light beige head. Yeasty aroma with some rich malt. Yeasty, rich malty, slightly fruity (plum/cherry) flavor. High carbonation. Nice balance. Silky mouthfeel.

not as good as the tremens overall. dark brown w/ slight orange tint. head doesn’t last. mildly hopped with a sweet fruity and yeasty aroma. Good malt flavor,, although a little too sweet. not bad but not my favorite of this category

Poured a nice dark murky brown with an orange hue to it all. The head was big and fluffy white. The aroma was fruity and spicey with yeast also detectable. The yeasts and breadiness of the brew were very detectable in the flavor that featured some dark fruits but mostly candy sugar over top of an apple-like fruit flavor. There was somethign medicinal about the flavor that didn’t strike my fancy in the flavor category, but otherwise, this was a pretty nice beer - although somewhat pricey in my area.

Bottle Very Cool looking. 48F. Tulip Glass. Sweetlight notes, with touchess of sourness, Bread and cheese smells, fruity with dark notes of plum, and dark cherries. Finishes sour, but begins sweet, definate cherry taste, very light sweet malts are dominate, with a dark finish. Very nice and fruity taste. Full mouth feel, tons of tiny carbonation, with a great bittersour finish like espresso. Great mouthfeel, good amount of dark flavors, a nicely done belgian strong.

Draft at Zeno’s. No outstanding aroma. Sweet notes escape the nose. Very dark red with this head. Flavor is very one sided but not in a bad way. Hints of fruits such as cherry and plums last in the mouth. Very balanced and peaceful drink. Very sippable but found myself taking bigger gulps at the end. Cheers!

Pours clear dark brown, almond head. Flavor isn’t anything special, roasted malt, some apple and other fruitness to it, with brown sugar and caramel sweetness, every flavor not being very strong at all, just a regular beer really.

Aroma is white grape, spicy and champange like. Color is deep burgandy held up to light with a generous, tiny bubble, beige head. Flavor starts dark fruit sweet with hints of plum and prune turning peppery and finishing long and dry with a black cherry tartness. Medium bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. 9% ABV is noticable.
