Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

bottle-pours dark brown with a tan frothy head alot of head.....aroma is very sweet and malty...tast is sweet like honey, brown suger and thers almost like a metalic tast....all in all that tast is good but i think it would be better on tap and not in the bottle due to the metalic tast i got from it.

I remember the first time i saw this Delirium and itís partner [daytime??] Man i thought this is too weird, advertising alcohol withdrawal... I was sort-of scarred/embarrassed to even ask about it. Since then Iíve read about this family brewer, and when i found it at Cost Plus in Fresno {!!} i decided to give it a go. First thing MAN what a huge head! Not even half the glass full of liquid, [and Iím a careful pourer] after fifteen minutes i added some more, then slowly watched this volcano like effect of foam coming out the top, but never spilling over the edge. Slightly tannish cream colored. Huge thick lace down the side. Dark dark brown with some amber around the edges. Interesting earthy sweetish, malty aroma. Rather drinkable flavor, [not hoppy of course] but some interesting complex favors... sweet very full mouth-feel. some roasted malt, some spiciness, some burning at the back of the throat, [the alcohol? or some spice like hops?] This wonít be a regular, but i do appreciate the ale, and have to say itís a very pleasant drink. Way cool bottle cork 1pint 9,4 oz [love that crazy European notation]

hazy dark mahogany hue, with a frothy tan-colored head, with a yeasty, toasted, caramelized malts, with a dark dried fruits note of dates, plums, figs, raisins, hint of nutmeg spiciness, molasses, and a touch of alcohol in the aroma follows through on a full-bodied palate with a crisp toasted malt character, with a bitter chocolatey note, brown sugar, molasses, dark dried fruits accent, with a warm alcoholic feeling, leading towards a malty, fruity warm finish.

Dark with aromas of sugar and fruit. Palate is smoother and lighter than I was expecting. Flavor dissipates slowly. Nice. I let this one warm up to just below room temp.

Clear brown color with thick, lasting tan head, big bubbles. Aroma - dark fruits, hard candi sugar, spicy, oxidation. Flavor is dominated by tinny metalic with some oxidation. Medium body. Some malt flavor along with some candi sugar - no hops. Overally, I think I got a bad bottle. Iíve had this before and donít remember so many off-flavors. Belgian character is evident, but itís overwhelmed by the metalic/oxidation. Will have to re-rate this one.

Pretty good brew, a little too much alcohol flavor and aroma though. Has a nice fruity flavor and wonderful palate. Pours hazy tan with a large head typical of the style. An overall good brew.

What a beautiful beer. Pours a deep redish brown with a big fluffy lasting head. Has some nice sticky lacing also. Aroma of malt and spices. There is no mistaking this awesome Belgian aroma. Flavor is slightly tart with malt and spice. I love the PINK ELEPHANT!!!

Poured from the bottle, dark brown with a very large pillowy and slightly tan head. Malt and ginger in the aroma. Vinuous flavours, caramal and sugary, tart and dry in the finish.
