3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
this strong and bitter - not nearly as good as ’tremens’ - finishes long slow and bitter - I thought - by taste- this was a high alcohol brew. 8.5 is actually weak for this strong a flavor - in my ever be it so humble opinion.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown-red colour, large brown head. Full aroma, roasted, some sweet chocolate. Taste is rather sharp, full of herbs, light biterness in the finish, but specially that roasted taste.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A dark brown-reddish beer with a reasonable head. The taste is sweet, alcohol, raisin and yeasty. An aroma of some sort of liqueur and some strange fruits. A good beer but not impressive. (Bottle 33cl)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dr. Pepper-brown with a bubbly head. Maybe I should just say "looks like Dr. Pepper." Fruity, brown sugar sweetness that loosens its cloyingness as the brew warms up. Somewhat nutty characteristics as well. Not as full-bodied or complex as expected but still quite nice.

(Draught at Delirium Cafe, Gothenburg) Pours dark brown, thick beige head. Sweet, acidic nose with som hints of plum and raisin. Great, thick mouthfeel. Sparkling, sweet brown sugar flavour with some fruityness. Great bitterness. Sugary in finish.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fluffy tan head, tastes of of chocolate malts, brown sugar, prunes, raisins, dark rum, bit of the alcohol, figgy liquorice aroma, laces nicely on my glass, I like this stuff because it tastes really good, dark belgian candy sugar finishes dry, dark brown cola-like color. (that was a run-on sentence, cause I liked it!)

2 bottles shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, jerc & gregclow - courtesy of HogTownHarry & blankboy. Dark brown, bubbly tan head. Some cola, alcohol, stale malt in aroma. Taste of butterscotch, and sweet dark malt with hints of spices. Some fruity notes as well. A little thin. Not bad, but not overly flavourful and a little too strong.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy reddish brown. Aroma of relaxing in a field of flowers. The flavor is a bit like wine... fruity and herbacious with a touch of alcohol and a dry finish. But there is just enough malt and hops to give some beer character. As far as Belgians go, there are some better ones out there, but this is quite good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle. Pours a solid deep red-brown hue with a dense, lingering head. The smell is rich of flowers, alcohol, and malt notes. The flavor is immensely dry with some raisins, complex fruit notes, and more alcohol. This successful harmony is followed by a very dry finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
2 bottles shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, jerc & tupalev - courtesy of HogTownHarry & blankboy. Ruby brown with a reddish off-white head that is small at first, but picks up a lot when swirled. Aroma of brandy-soaked cherries, brown sugar and a hint of cocoa. Body is thin. Flavour is quite sweet and fruity, somewhat one-dimensional, with alcohol warmth in the finish. Seemed a but stale as well. Alright, but I expected more for some reason.
