Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

Cute bottle. Hazy brown, with small off-white head. Yeasty, spicy aroma. Sweet fruit, sour berries. Malts and alcohol become prominent after a while. Yeast and malt dominate flavor.

Poured a dark brown with a nice head, kinda thin. Aromas were spicy and flavor was smooth, and not too harsh. It wasn’t a bad brew although I prefer the tremens, not too bad.

My least favorite of the dlirium series. As others have noted, the caramel is pretty potent in the taste and almost ruins it for me. Spicy yeastiness is also there, but not nicely balanced. In the overall scheme of things, a good beer, but a bit "clumsy" compared to the rest of the stable.

Rum raisin and caramel apple aroma. Notes of cinnamon or clove in the nose as well. From the bottle this beer pours a dark brown with a thinning head. A dry "belgian yeast" quality on the first sip. Caramel, malty alcohol body and bitter dry in the finish. The spicy clove tinge in every sip makes this an enjoyable "evening buzz".

Dark clear brown, nice head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, alcohol. Nice but not as nice as some Belgians I’ve had lately. Flavor of caramel and some yeastiness as well as a little alcohol. Not all that complex. Caramel is the most dominant characteristic for me.

From bottle. Dark brown pour, slightly murky. Beige head. Nose is dark fruits - prune, raisin - and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet breads, like sticky buns. Finish is lightly dry, with a alcohol burn. Not a top-tier BSA, but enjoyable.

Pours a deep reddish brown with thin light brown head. Nose is bitter and alcoholic. Flavor is robust and a little sour. Warming feeling persists. With the cooler weather this is a real treat.

Bottled. Reddish copper colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Sweet alcohol, caramel, malts and yeast in aroma. Flavour is hoppy, smooth with hints of spices. Also a huge peak of alcohol.
