3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2003 This is another highly carbonated brew. Upon pouring it it immediately started to overflow my glass causing be to sip the foam fast! The head was filled with medium to large light brown bubbles. Its aroma was very pleasant and strong smelling. Its body is a almost non-transparent brown color. The head died quickly before I could take my first sip. There was almost no lacing on the side of the glass. A thick sweet taste filled with ..., god I wish I was better with tastes and smells. I can’t place it. I can taste the alcohol content in it. It is very strong. The palate is fine, but middle of the road. I am still looking for a brew to drink tonight!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Murky brown, high tan head that is long lasting and prone to lacing. Sugar and alcohol aroma, like sniffing a fruitcake. Immediate impression during first sip: overly carbonated. (Maybe I'm just too picky, but I find that this moderate-to-high carbonation too distracting). After I let the glass rest for a while and flatten the carbonation, fruity and grape-y flavors emerge, co-mingling with gingerbread and more alcohol. Solid, in my book.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Ever have one of those days where you wish a beer could knock you into delirium nocturnum. This one has a chestnut brown color with a laced brown head. A sweet malty, candy, dusty, raisin, cake aroma and flavor. Light and airy on the palate. A touch better than the Tremens.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good overall colour, very dark, but not opaque. Good strong smell, with definately malty characteristics. Nice strong flavour, but not my favourite belgian strong ale! Definately worth a try!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This Delirium is much better tasting than its Tremens brother, thus I liked it better for the similar alcohol content. I also really like the bottles that these come in - solid white bottle with blue label and pink elephants on it - very very weird, but neat at the same time.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly cloudy, dark amber color with a medium sized, lingering light tan head. The aroma is strong with malts, caramel, and a hint of alcohol. Full bodied with high carbonation, the flavor is thick and rich with malty goodness and caramel sweetness. The finish is all malt and spices. Another great Delirium brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer poured a very dark amber color and formed a light tan head that subsided quickly but left cirular lace. An aroma of malt, caramel and spices with a slight hint of the alcohol present. A flavor of malt and spices. The finish is a touch astrigent. I don't find the flavor of this one to live up as well to other belgians I have tried, but it is a good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2007 This is a nice, darker belgian strong, with good all around flavor and a nice color. A worthy libation. If you like this one, check out the Delirium Noel, which, in my opinion, is an improvement on this brew.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Lots of foam. Slightly fruit taste with the finish, but still strong. Not too interesting, best thing is 8,5%...
