douglas88 (1556), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Dec 20, 2008 Bottle drank at the Bayou. Pours out a murky brown color with a medium light brown head. A very sweet nose of candies, loads of yeast, some alcohol and spices. The flavor was similar, lots of sweet candy flavors initially, but dominated by a dry earthy yeast. As it warms if becomes more fruity, and overall, the body is very lively and nice. Good beer. BeerBaron617 (306), Novi, Michigan, USA Dec 18, 2008 Well, I had the Tremens a few weeks ago, and I would say this is a step up from that. Its a lot darker, and a bit fruitier, with some sour notes. Very good mouthfeel, and an overall great brew. If I ever see this on sale again, I will definitely get it.Cheer Ober (1161), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands Dec 12, 2008 A clear brown colored beer, with a thick beige head. The aroma of dark sweet fruits, a little coffee candy and caramel malt. The taste of sweet alcohol fruits, liquorice root. It is spicey, some pepper. The aftertaste is a little bitter with sweets. BustedFlat (552), Edina, Minnesota, USA Dec 9, 2008 Poured dark brown with a thick tan head. Fruit and yeast aroma. Taste of malt vinegar, dark fruit and green apples. There was a pronounced sourness and not to my taste.
Tranquillity (1165), Espoo, Finland Dec 6, 2008 Bottle. Dark red body, tint beige head. Red wine, cherry, alcohol, gluhwein/glogg grass, some herbs in the aroma. I could smell this forever. The taste is similar and very strong, but not as complex as the aroma. astrofrk (218), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Dec 1, 2008 Dark amber. Long, creamy head. Aroma: Fruits, yeast, spice. Flavor: Same with alcahol warming. Sweet finish. cb23 (97), St. louis, Missouri, USA Dec 1, 2008 Bottle. Very interesting beer. The nose smelled like banana and raisins. Some notes of strawberry and vanilla maybe. Tasted much of the same with a lot of malt sweetness. Rounded out by a very mild hop finish. A bit yeasty at the end too. My first brew from Delerium, hope to try more. A good Belgian. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Nov 29, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Easy drinking. Looks like some Coca-cola in the pour. Fizzy as hell. Kinda detracts from the flavor, which is very nice, and mellows out nice and sweet in the finish. Pretty good.
