| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Bottled: thanks Cwis. Pours a heavy ruby color with a off white head. Smells of grape and it tastes of plum and grape that ends sweet, that finish with a hint of bitterness. OK beer. Collint (453), Sylva, North Carolina, USA

The flavor is complex and changes in the mouth. It’s OK but again I would not go out of my way to get it again pik5el (51), Pasadena, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Aroma: subtle but pleasant, plums, grape, currant
Appearance: nice head, leaves little lacing, color like black tea
Flavor: all kinds of things happening, sweet and bready with underlying fruitiness. dark fruits and dried stuff. lingering yeastiness.
Palate: meh. i don’t know that the flavor is accentuated that well by the carbonation. while within style guidelines, it just doesnt do anything for me. not a real strong alco burn though, that gets points. BuckyBazoo (23), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 15, 2008 Poured A deep brown with a thick mocca head. The aroma is dark fruits, brown sugar, and malty. The flavor was a little chocolatey, but not sweet. It felt very light in the mouth and it went down very easy. Unfortunately, this beer smelled better than it tasted. I found it to be a watered down version of a Belgian style ale. There is nothing really special about this beer other the the bottle it comes in.
