My second of the Delirium pours a cola color with a tan head that disappeared quickly ..... had a light taste a nice dark color .... I did not taste the alcohol was a little weak but overall had some nice fruity slightly sweet flavors Bought at Total Wine in Claymont

Bottle, bought @ Bjergtrolden, Roskilde.
Deep brown with slight red edges. A fine, staying, beige head. Aroma has lots of raisins, some fruity tartness. Light roastiness and yeast. Fine, wonderful creaminess. Flavour is wonderful, lots of deep, dark maltiness. A great deal of raisins, some plums and light dark roasted notes. Extremely well-balanced. Perhaps a bit too tart and alcoholic for its own good.

Pours a clear brownish-red with a thick, bubbly tan head. Big sweet aroma of malt, dried fruits, yeast. Clean bitter taste of malt and yeast, with notes of fruits. Lingering fruity bitterness. Quite tasty.

June 9, 2008; 330ml bottle sampled in a Trappist glass.. Brown pour. Thick head recedes quickly. Aroma is better than the astringent taste of sour fruit & pronounced alcohol. Didn’t detect the sweetness other raters have noted. Maybe I got a bad one, but this bottle didn’t make the grade..

Coffee hop yeast funk and alcohol all perfectly balanced. Really dark. Super hoppy for such a dark beer.

Poured caramel with a thin, fizzy head which disappeared fairly quickly.. about a minute after the pour most of it is gone off the top of the glass. The alcohol taste is in the forefront. Citrus/Fruity aroma? I would say my favorite part of this is how it feels on the palate. Kind of let down on this beer considering the recommendation I got to try it.. Wouldn’t buy it again.

I think the alcohol shows up way too much in this beer. Not enough flavour or even body for such a high ABV beer. A bit too sweet for me.average

Bottle from Apple Valley LIquor: Pours a dark amber with a large tight tan head that shrinks to a thin cap. Yeasty aroma, dark roast malt and light dark fruit. Sharp carb in the initial mouthfeel. Smooths into a clean roast malt body with some fruity bitterness balancing. Finishes smoothly with a light sweetness.
