Bottle shared by Plovmand, thanks. Dark brown body with a medium offwhite head. Aroma is spices, alcohol and notes of yeast. Sourish flavor with hints of alcohol.

Bottle at home. Dark brown-red color, nice head, but disappears a bit to quick. Aroma of dark fruits, apple, raisin, chocolate and spices. Taste is good, but to sad it’s a bit to watery, to flat. Taste a bit like wine, dark fruits, a bit sour but not overwhelming.Nothing really special, but for sure drinkable!

Hazy brown with a low head. Aroma of raisins, dades and overripe fruit. Tha flavour is heavily sweet with notes of plums, perfume and pineapple. A strange and disharmonic brew.

A: A 750ml bottle split with a friend. I poured the beer into a chalice to reveal a murky, dark brown pour with a nice fluffy off-white head.
S: The smell is full of fruits, chocolate, yeast, and spice.
T: A nice combination above the aforementioned sensations. However, the flavor doesn’t come together quite as nicely as I would have expected. A bit flat and muddled with a touch of alcohol.
M: The carbonation is plentiful and the body is medium,.
D: This beer is easy to drink, but considering its disappointing flavor, I didn’t exactly want to keep coming back to it. Rather unfortunate considering how much I enjoy Tremens.

Bottle. Very surprised to see that I’ve never rated this. Aroma is musky and sweet with notes of caramel, figs, cherries and a light spicy undertone. Dark brown with a thin white head. Flavors are predominately sweet, with lots of caramel and fig, but not cloying. A peppery note balances the sweetness, and a dry finish rounds out the otherwise near-syrupy palate.

Aroma: Neutral; Apple; Sweet malt; A bit of leather and mustiness.
Appearance: Clear; Rich medium-brown color; Thick tan head with good retention; Some lacing.
Taste: Lightly sour; Malty; Green apple; Leather, Musty; Alcohol
Palate: Medium thick; Not chewy-thick; Well carbonated, Decent finish with little aftertaste.
Overall: Not the best Belgian Ale we’ve tried, but not bad. Drinks somewhat lighter than it actually is. We think it deserves pretty decent scores, but is not one we’d buy again.

Bottle. Dark brown body with a creamy dense light tan head. Liquorice, burned caramel, overripe fruit, mollasses and a distinct light sour touch. Lovely. Caramel, ripe fruit, light sour and burned caramel. Highly carbonated.

Pours a deep dark amber color with a thick head. Aroma is of malts, dried fruit, hops, and spices. Flavor is of malts, dried fruit, raisins, and plums. Has a fruity malt finish.

Bottle. Dark brown with a tan head that laced the glass. Malt, dough, and candy aromas. Sweet malt and bread flavors with a hint of alcohol. Not a bad beer, but it does not rate as well as some of the other Belgain strong ales that I have tried.

Bottle. Pours a very dark ruby with a thin, light head. Aroma of fruits and alcohol. A crisp palate taste leads to a somewhat bland finish and watery after taste. Not bad but nothing special either.
