COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

chocolate, brown, cloudy, medium head, light sweetness, medium but long lasting bitterness, lightly sour, full body, creamy, lively, bitter, long finish, wide arrange of flavors from start to finish is a refreshing change from the norm but the bitterness was a tad to long lasting for my personal taste

330ml bottle (bottle design is awesome BTW). Pours dark golden brown, opaque. Head is short and brownish in color, foamy with large bubbles. Head is short lasting. Aroma of fruits malt yeast, some caramel and alcohol. Moth feel is rich, creamy, carbonation is pretty strong, tang from alcohol. Tastes sweet then balanced by bitterness and carbonation. Taste of caramel, alcohol, some herbal, grass like notes. White wine with some sweeter caramel-chocolate notes, some fruity-citrus tastes. Goes down nicely with mellow sweetness, more bitter, roasted-chocolate notes and bitter-sour grapefruit notes. Leaves sweet after taste with hints of chocolate. Very complex flavor profile with much development. Really fun to drink by itself. Can’t think of something to pair it with. Great strong Belgian.

Pours a hazy brown with - seriously - the most ridiculous head *ever*. The bottle hadn’t been agitated and I removed the cap gently, and it still foamed out, and *kept* foaming out for at least 30 seconds. Time enough for me to first try to sip off the overflow, then bring it to the sink, then get a glass under it in a desperate attempt to capture some of what was spewing away. Had to have lost at least 50ml - consider yourself warned! Be ready to dump this into a *large* chalice when you open it. Or maybe a bucket. _Sigh._ Where was I? Oh, yeah - persistent tan head and moderate lacing. Nose is dark fruits, toffee, Belgian yeast (faint cloves) and some alcohol heat. Taste is sweetly malty, with cherry or raisin, finishing with some lingering hops. Mouth feel is surprisingly light, making this quite drinkable. It is sweet, though, and I’m not sure I’d want more than one at a go.

Aroma: caramel, toasted malts. Appearance: dark brown, big frothy head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: dry sweet, alcohol, lift bitters coming up. Overall: nice Belgian Strong Ale, maybe a bit too much alcohol in the palate. Bottle at Belgo Centraal, Covent Garden

Apesar do 8.5% graduação alcoólica, é muito saborosa! Não da pra perceber! Sabor marcante!
