Dark brown amber color with small off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is malty and fruity. Flavor has strong caramel malts and is a little sweet with a slight alcohol pinch. Good overall

1 pint bottle. Deep rrubby brown body with a 1/4 lacing head. Lots of malt flavors really not much hop, and a few spices notes of yeast. It reminds me of a Enlish Brown Ale at has not gotten to it finall gravity yet. Worth a try.

11.2oz bottle. Poured deep, ruddy brown with a moderate cap of deep beige head. The aroma picked up nice doses of biscuit, drawn caramel, and chocolate maltage with warm herbs, cocoa, and spicy yeast fading away.. nice components, but the components did not meld together as I had hoped. The flavor found semi-sweet chocolate and caramel malt at the core (with the chocolate riding through the long finish).. spicy alcohol and peppery notes rise at the back of the mouth, detracting a bit from the enjoyment.. dry herbal notes, chocolate, and alcohol on the finish. Medium-bodied with creamy carbonation across the middle, but sharper stuff around and at the back.. warm finish. This was a decent beer, but not much more.

75cL bottle, from old notes. Deep brown color with hints of ruby at the edges, creamy off white foam, decent retention and lacing. Lots of dark malt and yeasty phenols in the aroma. Flavor is big on the malt and a bit confused, seems to be doing too many things at the same time. Does it want to be a double or a scotch style? A little too sweet for me.

I wanted more violence out of the cork. Pours murky brown with a full off white head.I am having a little trouble with my sniffer today but the taste is of dark malt, dark fruit, and molasses. Taste starts off with a medium sweetness and then finishes on a lightly sour note.

Poured a dark amber with off-white caramel colored head (fizzy). Aroma of dry fruit, a bit of funkiness, spice, caramel and a little hops. Same goes for the flavor accept with some sourness (in a good way). Pretty nice beer, but not amazing. Definitely worth a try.

bottle poured reddish brown with an off white head that lasts for the druatiion of the beer. Small yeast particules bob up and down with the carbonation. Aromas of dates yeast, and dry fruit The mouthfell is creamy with the nice feeling of cabonation it also finishes a little dry. It tastes like sweet grapes (almost wine ) malt along with a llite taste of hops in the end is quite nice .The pink elephant on the bottle reminds me of the one that they had in front of the detox center in danvers Mass when it was open LOL. a good Belgian strong ale I drink it again
