Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Aug 20, 2007 I agree with many of the reviews here, noting that while this is a decent, well-merketed beer that the Delirium Nocturnum is could be better A tad on the sweet side, with some standard burnt spice and fruit notes. Somewhat disappointing and therefore a lot like the Delirium Cafe in Brussels. drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Aug 18, 2007 Rich, malty, strong ale. As good as any Belgian strong you can find in the States. Most of the reviews on this page are a bit unfair to this straight up Belgian. Habanero (610), Tranbjerg, Denmark Aug 17, 2007 Bottle: Pours hazy and dark brown with a huge tan head. Nose of malt, raisins and..........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Glouglouburp (2778), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 16, 2007 Delirium Nocturnum, sounds scary. There’s probably a swedish Death-Metal band going on by the same name. Mahogany body, lots of yeast chunks and a medium beige head. Fruity, very fruity. Prunes, apples, grapes, cherries. A little sourness and woody with a light Flemish Sour note. The rest of the beer is rather straightforward but I must that its fruity character is pretty complex. Feels very smooth and round in mouth. Some caramel as it warms-up. Medium hop presence with a light citrusy finish. Typical lively Belgian carbonation. emotv (331), Izmir, Turkey Aug 15, 2007 Tasted on tap in Delirium Cafe, Dark brown even black colour.. You can feel the caramel flavour, You can feel the alcohol, and this makes you bit unconfortable but nice beer. MaliMisho (208), East Meadow, New York, USA Aug 12, 2007 This is now my favorite beer, I loved it. The color was a dark reddish-brown and the head was light brown. The flavor had a hint of caramel but was not too sweet. ChrisThomson (378), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 12, 2007 Bruges-07. Pours a nice dark reddish brown with nice carbonation bubbles making their way to the top of the glass. The aroma was mostly a mixture of fruit, caramel, and sugar. The flavour is largely dark fruit with some sweet sugar notes toward the end. Alcohol and yeast somewhat noticeable. I like this one much better than Delerium Tremens. biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Aug 7, 2007 Dark redish color, very sweet. Similar to the last guy, I got a distinct ’fruit dipped in fondue with a very fizzy coke’ flavor. WHAT?
