Ma che sorpresa che sorpresa; che la stappo e annuso il collo della bottiglia e mi arriva una botta pazzesca di albicocca/pesca fresca spiazzante mista a zuccherosi (canna) toni o caramello perň di una dolcezza proprio stramba che quando la verso non so bene cosa aspettarmi. Ma il colore spacca il banco dello stanco: c’č un scuro nero con schiuma beige mooolto chiara e decisamente abbondante e persistente e l’aroma č lo stesso ma piů smorzato e bilanciato dall’alcool. Nel sapore č un sentore veloce, subito subentra un qualcosa di scuro, quasi caffč comunque abbastanza tostato, che si confonde con il piccante dell’alcool in una frizzantezza forse esagerata sostenuta da un corpo importante ma non troppo mapposo. Oi, č buona. Manco parente della sua versione diurna. Bravi bravi

Lot of dark fruits in the aroma. Medium body with very intense fruity and spicy, almost wine-like taste. Excellent!

Bottle, finally got my chance to drink this beer. Love Tremens and Noel, so why not, well I see why not, this is the worst of the three. Bottle. Dark brown beer with a strong brownish head. The aroma is fermented, aniseed and fruity and the flavour is dry, fruity, slightly sour with a touch of sweetness. Overall a reasonable beer but not excellent.

Bottled. Pours caramel brown, dense tan head, good lace. Nose is sweet, raisiny, fruity. Flavor is sweet, malty, slcohol notes, musty, a little metallic in the finish--bad bottle?. Finish was slightly astringent, alcohol notes. Mouthfeel thin to medium.

pours a brownish red with a thick off white head. Huge chunks floating around in this one. sugary yeast nose. Flavor is similar with some nice spice and a bit of tart thrown in. Plums, raisin, sour grapes, and other random fruits are floating around in this one. Nicely carbonated. Good.

Pours a dark chestnut brown, with a thick, foamy, light tan head. Smells of profound dark candied fruit, candy sugar, and sweet dark malts. Theflavor is sweet as well, with a noticeable tartness to it that gave it some twang. The candy sugar and sweet malts are almost masked because of its tartness. Really just average when it comes to this style. Nothing really stands out from it, and it has some flaws. Needs to bring out a little more of its Belginanness for me.

Bottle from Canals. Amber pour with spice/bready aromas. Candy sugar and fruit taste. It was okay for me.

Pours a dark brown that has a lot floating around in it. Nose is just a clump of sugar. And I don’t like it. Flavor is yeasty, bitter and funky. Sharp caramel edge on the backside. Feel has a lot of carbonation to it and a typical liquid feel. Overall this is an okay beer. Two years ago I might have been more interested in this beer, but then again, maybe not. With so much other great stuff out there, I don’t really see why I should bother with this one here.
