Pours a chunky mahogany into a tulip. Conglomerate head with good retention and no lacing. Dried fruit aromas. Bubbly and thin. Dry with front to back fig and date. Lasting alcohol burn finish.

I like Belgian beers, and this one did not disappoint. Not overly complex; a little fruity and somewhat syrupy. Pretty good beer.

Dark brown ale with a thick moka head. Light moka chocolate and gin alcohol, with light orange peels. In mouth, rather nice lightly smoked peat finishm with a initial bitter chocolate, coriander and orange peels. A bit short in mouth and too much alcohol, unbalanced. Bottle at l’Autre Oeil, August 4, 2006.

I had this on tap at the Delirium Cafe in Brussels. Seemed like the thing to do at the time. Turns out the name delirium really has nothing to do with this place. The beer was dark, malty, and smooth. not alcoholic. pretty alright.

2005 Bottle Nose of malts, ripe fruits, and raisins; semi transparent cherry brown with a huge tan fead, that hung in there lacing the glass; flavor of sweet malts and fruit, with a little hop bitterness.

Pours a dark mahogany brown. Has a sweet aroma of malt and fruit. Nice palate kind of thick. Very sweet taste of malt and candied fruit. Was good but too sweet for my likings

(Bottle 33 cl) Unclean, murky brown with a small, beige head. Sweet aroma of overripe fruit. Rather full and solid body. Sweetish malty with accents of overripe fruit - plums and apricots - and a slightly perfumy edge. Rather raw bitterness in the finish. 080806

I am noy a big fan of Belgian style beers but the lady at the store recommended it. I have to say it was one of the only ones I have actually finished. Poured a cola color with a slight hint of red. Huge head that quikly died down but stayed around the entire beer. Aroma is sweet/candy and slight malt. I get mostly dark fruit flavors in the taste, then some slight seet/candy and then slight malt with just the smallest of roastyness.
