Fantastic dark cherry colour. There was the slightest sour note whilst pouring, but no trace of that in the taste. Intensely rich, yet easy on the palate, well carbonated - chocolate and cherry flavours swirling round my mouth in abundance. For a strong beer it doesn’t taste thick or heavy, in fact it’s very deceptive and an absolute belter. lumpsowers (235), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

Very fruitty with a dry alcoholic taste. Very sweet, with a slightly sour/green apple taste. Fizzy appley, unique and awesome, outstanding. I paid $11 for this bottle of beer, and it was pretty much worth it.

It has a near-perfect balance of malt and hops, with more on the hops side. There are notes of raisins, chocolate, blackstrap molasses. I personally did not notice any alcoholic smell or taste. Yeasty spicy rootbeer and dark malt aromas. Medium body. Classic yeasty Belgian dark ale flavors with rootbeer spice and earthy sweet brown malts. Nice. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland

Bottle brown, 330 ml, I got it from Chmurarz.
Appearance: Pours very essential and beautiful machogany brown body, denoting the honest use of Munich malt, body is rather hazy in texture due to its darkness its rather hard to notice if not through the light, head is initially very small, no problem with pouring it to the glass, rather no lacing, carbonation of the body is weak too.
Aroma: Very pleasant, notes of wheat, clove, Munich malt, chockolate, milk, cherry, plum, powder sugar, nice leavy hoppyness, perfumy notes of hops, really impressive in terms of aroma, also quite noticable alcoholic notes, slightly wine, red wine grapes, slightly woody - accidic at the beginning when opened.
Flavour & Palate: Very ingenious mixture satisfying all the demonds of the rater. At front beer is slightly salty and accidic, woody and well defined in the character, quite noticable alcoholic character and spicyness, later on the stress is put more on the bitter hoppyness and chockolate like, crispy Munich malt, notes of chockolate and cacao, roasted coffee beans, ash, roastyness, the dark side of beer is more sweet oriented, whereas the typical base is similar to its bright side - ’Delirium Tremens", in terms of yeastyness, pale malt, wheat and leavy hoppyness. Apart from this there is a coocoo candy and spices. Quite high alcohol level contributes positively to the beer character. Finish duration is long and pleasant with lingering scents of yeast, hoppyness, chockolate malt, roastyness and alcohol.

RIch chocolate smell with dark fruit - plum, raisons, spices and an overall sense of sweet. Nice and intreuging. Taste rich and fruity with only a hint of alcohol. Lots of rasberyy and blackberry a little apple, cherry all mixed with strong bitter chcolate. Sweet is the predominant flavour but it’s not sickly. Smooth yet with some prickly carbonation. Absolutely brilliant. MagnumPI (56), Essex, England

Fruity wafts on corkage promised much and delivered early on, with complex rich tastes in the mouth/aftertaste. Fine head which quickly cleared and pleasant hue.. It accompanied the curry well half way through, but did lose its panache in the final third. Certainly enjoyable
