COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

Bottled: Pours out very carbonated dark brown color with a quick forming white head. It has a cherry aroma with notes of malt. The taste is not overly complex, but not too bad. It has notes of semi-sweet chocolate cherries and ends with a taste of spices.

Fruity aroma, slightly bitter not too sweet flavor, alcohol content is dangerously well hidden. A beautifully dark amber appearance. This beer is excellent.

Mc Swiggans - Avoid this beer. It?s horrible. Nose of elephant ass and rotten fruit. Tastes about the same with notes of kerosene and a skunky finish.

Pours reddish brown with a full off white head that limgered as thin film. Aromas of caramel with spice and some stone fruit. Lt side of medium body with lively carbonation that fades quickly to a smooth mouth. Sweet fading to floral and herbal hops and some bitterness in the finish. Overall a good brew but just not my style I think.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with tan head. Smells of yeast and slight fruit. Tastes of the same with quite a bit of carbonation. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nocturnum pours a dark caramel color. You can get a nice crimson coming through when backlit. Head is frothy. Belgiany aroma with notes of berry and I want to say grape? Slightly bitter and a clean palate. Nice and mild, easy drinking.

Head: coffee beige, medium, creamy and frothy, good retention Colour: deep red-brown, hazy. Aroma: fruit, caramel, grapes, white wine, also some sourness, minty, alcohol or solvent. Taste: dry and slightly sour, some fruity alcohol, spicy, moderate bitterness. Complex, balanced sweetness, sourness, spicy, bitter and alcoholic. The taste (not the aroma) reminds me of Orval.
