| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Updated: May 14, 2008A dark orange pour with a bubbly off-white head and large bubbles. Lots of yeast in the aroma, malt and prunes/oranges too. Body is light and fizzy to an extreme. Sweet toasty malts, yeasty, spicy and a slight metallic finish. Good belgian but the carbonation is just so extreme that it makes it hard to really get a good taste. DSG (1515), Tel Aviv, Israel

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Pours a very dark amber/copper with a thin off-white head. Aroma is mostly spicy malts and Belgian yeast, with some alcohol and dark sweet fruits also. The taste is quite sweet with some background spice and Belgian twang. Some heat comes in on the finish. Not nearly as complex as compared with other stong Belgians, but still decent. Alcohol is quite apparent for 8.5%.
