Rating #400! Pours a fairly dark brown color with a somewhat thin tan head. Very appetizing aroma reminds me of candied cherries and caramel with a hint of cinnamon bread. Unfortunately, the flavor is not quite as exciting as the aroma. Some caramel with sweet sugary bread notes. Thoroughly enjoyable but not spectacular.

On tap @ the Delirium Cafe Belgium. Nice deep brownish red color. Caramel malt nose and flavor stand out, and a sweet finish present.

Pretty dark brown with a reddish/mahogany hue. Lasting creamy tan head. Had a granny smith apple and malty sweet aroma. Nutty fruit taste with a slight lemon bitterness. Thin mouthfeel and a little too fizzy for me.Not too bad overall.

deep ruby red, nice frothy almond colored head. aroma is strong on brown sugar with a little alcohol. flavor is slightly sweet, very astringent, and i'm sure there's nothing wrong with the bottle other than what's in it.

Bottle Deep brown body. Lightly brown head, which diminishes totally. Nose of malts. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour. Fully bodied.

Color is a dark ruby with good carbonation and a tight off white head. Aroma is a sweet toasted caramel scent. Taste is malty and fizzy. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a very fizzy feel. Finish is malty with a mild fruity yeast flavor and a dried fruit sweetness. After taste is clean and dry with the fruit slowly fading. This is a fabulous brew, mildly complex with great Belgian flavors.

Pours a dark brown color with amber lacing and a gigantic white creamy head. Drank from a Duvel tulip that made this beer a monster. Smells of dark fruit, yeast, and belgian candi sugar. Tates of the same with a strange metallic bubble gum aftertaste. Good but not great.

As soon as I corked the bottle I could smell this one. Strong smell of sweet fruit and alcohol. Hint of apples possibly. Thick and dark appearance. A good dark, strong ale. A sour mash presence, with grapefruit tones. The alcohol and spice make for a good finish. Complex flavors. Enjoyed very much.
