I loved this beer. I think that it is better then DT. Nice dark color, sweet and a little spice.

Definately one of the best belgian ales I have had the pleasure of imbibing in quite a long time. Pours dark brown with a large head, spicy and fruity aroma precedes the flavor of sweet plums, cherries, dark fruits of many kinds. I really liked this one, much better than I was expecting.

Pours deep bronw/ruby with a big tan head. Aroma of malt, hops, dark fruit, citrus, cognac. Tastes malty, rich, with dark fruit and a smooth, semi-dry finish. This one is very dubblish with some barleywine qualities. The palate is medium, firm, and somewhat rauchy, and the finish has a dryness. This one is very complex, very good.

The neat lookng bottle was $7.68 at my local North Coast Coop in Eureka. It poured a garnet red color wtih floating chunks I suppose must be yeast. Head is tan with big fat and long lasting bubbles. Lacing was moderate. Nose was complex and of malts, fruits, coffee, chocolate, and a little hops. Mourthfeel was excellent with smoothness and the alcohol is hidden well. Flavors are excellent and mirror the aromas. Finish good with a hint of bitterness. A simple delightful brew to drink and well worth the price.

33cl Bottle. Poured with a huge head, lotsa carbonation in this beer. Mostly yeasty aroma, with hints of hop. The flavor is nice, starts sweet but finishes dry. Feels like soda on the tongue.

This is really excellent stuff. Slightly nutty flavor, sweet and sour at the same time. Great balance of flavors comes together with a good alcohol kick.

Head goes immediately. Very dense dark brown color. You can’t see through it. The aroma is a caramel vanilla. Very Very smooth caramel taste. No bitterness very drinkable.
