Poured a rich dark, molasses brown, with hints of cherry with a large creamy, light brown head; nose is full and robust of yeast notes, sweet too. Felt tingly in the mouth, tasted great, sweet, but not too sweet, great roasted malts, some nuttiness with lots of longevity. A great beer!

Delight, really! Dark-red coloration. It gives pra to perceive a light suspension. Dense, consistent and very persistent cream. In the nose, evident notes of chocolate, coffee and toasted malt. In the palate, the party starts of truth. Made velvety and creamy texture. Red fruits, chocolate and toasting. Perfect carbonation, almost imperceptible alcohol and incredible aftertaste. Wonderful beer..............................................
Textura aveludada e cremosa. Dá pra perceber frutas vermelhas, chocolate e torrefação. Carbonatação perfeita, álcool quase imperceptível e bem colocado.
Retrogosto incrível. Uma cerveja pra apreciadores.

We just got this one in, Poured with a thick tan head, ruby red beer, The aroma is yeasty, dark roasted fruits. The flavor is dry, dark fruits, yeasty, fresh bread, bitter chocolate, and no alcohol to be found. The body is the cleansing carbonation well balanced beer- very refreshing.

Tonight I revisit a favorite from my past. A year ago I was introduced to this brew at a Belgian pub in Pasadena California and was quite surprised when I saw this brew at a local store.
My first impression takes off with the aroma. You notice a strong malty armoa with nutty tones (walnuts?) and spices. Delirium pours dark brown with a huge frothy head which assists the smell that brings you in for that taste. I think the taste is complex and the finish is long and toasty. Also, I notice a dark fruity taste like raisins and dates. The feel is smooth and dry with a bubbly nature from the carbonation. Girls being introduced to dark beer may enjoy this as it is not a heavy beer on the stomach or the mouth like a bubbly wine (except not tart or bitter like wine).

750ml cork and cage. Pours russet in color with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate cherries and licorice. Medium full in texture with a sweetish blend of coffee, chocolate, cherry and dried fruits. There is a spice in there that reminds me of coriander and licorice. Well done strong dark.

Dark black, but a little bit transparent with traces of flowers in the mouth... Just my opinion...

Pours an almost opaque chocolate brown with a large and persistent tan head. Aroma is sweet malt, chocolate and cereal grain. Wonderful palate which is a perfect balance of sweet and sour with a slightly bitter/hoppy finish. Lovely stuff.

I really should try another one of these as I haven’t had it in years and am basing this off my notes. Dark red color, medium body, a strange blend of the sweet and the sour. Sour dominant toward the end. Notes of banana, licorice, and some bread.
