COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

Last beer of the night, which equates to the poorest review of the night. A really nice brew. Pours a cloudy bronze color. Yeast, spice and sweet dark fruits. Alcohol was hidden nicely.

Dark brown color with big white head that leaves nice trail while it slowly dissipates. Taste is of strong belgian yeast and dark fruit. It has medium carbonation and medium body. This is excellent strong dark ale with great aromas and flavours.

33cl shared bottle at BREW - Beers & Ciders, Bangkok. Pours slightly cloudy brown with a beige head. Aroma of alcohol, dark dried fruits (raisins) and malt. Sweet and fruity with a slightly bitter finish. Medium body. Quite nice but the alcohol is a bit too dominating. (2012-05-17)

This beer had a wonderful earthy smell. It poured a nice ruby color with a good there finger thick head. The head had nice lacing with good retention. The strong presence of alcohol was in every sip of this high gravity beer. The beer was enjoyable.

Pours dark burgundy with a thin white head. The aroma is dark fruit, figs, raisins, yeasty, and slightly acidic. The taste is sweet, fruity, and spicy with many of the dark fruit notes that show up in the nose. A nice beer and every bit the equal to Delirium tremens.

Panzerfaust (509) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - MAY 3, 2012
Found In Santiago de Chile, Pipiolo Store. Pours a surprisingly clear mahogany color with a big off-white creamy head that diminishes slowly. Aroma is spicy with some phenols and a little of malt. Notes of coriander and clove are especially noticeable. Caramel, figs and chocolate liquor. Flavor is sweet and spicy, obviously with brown sugar, caramel and some chocolate hints. Light sourness as a counterbalance. Silky texture, alcohol well disguised but warming enough. Finish is bold but a little abrupt. A very drinkable strong dark ale with the chocolate hints being the most important and defining feature.

Pours a brownish red with a thick tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate and licorice. Taste is cocoa sweet followed by a yeasty flavor mixed with a sour note. A bit of an off flavor with the yeasty taste. Otherwise interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty much a straightforward malty beer. Not much to it, but not bad. I prefer a little more hops or yeast.
