3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 savnac (2064) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - NOV 18, 2010Bottle. Once opened the foam started to come out of the bottle, but quickly poured into my trappist glass. Deep mahogany brown with a big, foamy head that quickly fades down to a thin layer. Aroma of dark fruit, sugar, some metallic notes and yeasty bread. The flavor is sweet dried fruit with a light bitterness and a metallic finish. Medium body with average carbonation and a somewhat oily mouth feel. Might have got an off bottle, very metallic in the finish.

Clear caramel colour, beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel, light metallic. Light bubble gum. Sweet caramel flavour, malts, metallic. Metallic finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 flying_pig (617) - SCOTLAND - MAY 24, 2013
330ml bottle from The Cave, Glasgow (£3.89):
Dark ruby to brown with a thumb sized, bubbly tan head on top that also has touches of brown. Retention is very good considering it’s 8.5%.
Light hops with a tonne of grape and some lighter fruits including apples and berries. There is some peach too and a bubbly, lively aroma with some sweetness, caramel and sugar.
Again hoppy and again a lively beer with some light fruits consisting mainly of grapes with some peach and apple in the mix too. The beer is a lot lighter than I had imagined before trying it and it was pretty sweet too with some caramel malts and cherries towards the end.
Smooth beer with moderate carbonation and good drinkability on top of a lively body that is about medium. There is some nice sweet fruits and a dry & tarty finish,
Very nice with a great, smooth feel that went down easy considering the high alcohol content and had some very pleasant fruit touches. Not quite as good Delirium Tremens but a very good beer none the less and one that I’m likely to pick up again at some point.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Iphonephan (1228) - Virginia, USA - MAY 22, 2013
From a bottle at Fire Works in Arlington VA. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Sour cherry aroma. Flavors of licorice and red fruits.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BlackIPA (720) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Pours a hazy brown with a pretty puffy tan head. Aromas of apple juice, some spices. Taste is sweet, not to the point of cloying, but almost. No real hop character. I can appreciate this for what it is, but its not my favorite. Finishes sweet with a slight hint of alcohol.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 CardsFan25 (28) - - MAY 18, 2013
Delirium...delirious. Had it first on tap at Eulogy in Philly then in bottle from the Fridge in Lancaster. Very complex in taste to the point that it’s beyond my expertise to rate. Great belgian that will mess you up!
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 reberiii (104) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Slight citrus nose, dark copper pour with sediment in suspension. Great lacing and alcohol leggings on the glass. A true Belgian in my view, extremely well balanced.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 blackmetal (86) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 16, 2013
Bold throughout. Starts off spicy and fruity but transitions into a more malty & bitter taste towards the end. Great cold weather beer.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Feramabra15 (7) - Sao Paulo, BRAZIL - MAY 9, 2013 does not count
Caramel, chocolate, coffee, toast, roasty, alcohol, woody, smoke, raisin, leather, fermented 3 times wither the last one within the bottle, it has 5 kinds of malt and 3 yeast, it goes very well with red meats
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 OKplus (379) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 9, 2013
A - Pours dark brown with ruby edges. 1 finger of cream colored settles down to form a wide collar.
S - Tart apples/cherries, brown sugar, spiced candy, sharp alcohol vapors.
T - Bartlett pears and pomegranate dominate the mix of fruity malt. Cocoa beans soaked in booze, brown sugar, unknown spices, peppery hop bitterness on the finish. Some vanilla/sarsaparilla type flavors on the aftertaste.
M - Heavy carbonation, light to medium bodied.
This is an interesting BSDA. It’s like they threw in the whole kitchen sink, all at one time. Some things seem to meld together, others don’t. Try it out for yourself.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 gururyan (476) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Poured from bottle into snifter, surprisingly dark and quickly dissipating head. Aroma is like a smoky bubble gum?...very unique. Very soft in the mouth with a tapering aftertaste that’s...that’s......yum. This is sophisticated. I am impressed, big time. This may be my new late autumn, chiminea, steak grillin’, end of college football season brew. The pink elephant on acid is a little strange though. I think it would be more at home on blotter paper than a fine belgian like this. However, I cannot fault it given how delicious this is. Well done, my friends were right.
