1 pint 9.4 oz bottle poured into chalice. Aroma is very strong. Yeasty, fruity and some spices and faint malts as well. Pours a lovely redish amber brown with a wonderful off white head that sticks around for the long haul. Taste is smooth and ruch, great mouthfeel and a good carbonation to it. Great complexity. Minimal fruit with some spice at the finish, very yeasty. Alcohol is masked insanely well. Delucious.

Aroma: intense caramel malts, spices. Appearance: clear, dark amber, medium, frothy, white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: lively carbonation, sweets continue, caramel, bread, spices, carbonation makes it a bit foamy in your mouth, has some acidity to that. Overall: excellent Belgian Strong Ale, fantastic aroma, nice palate, one of my favourite “Christmas” beers. Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn.

Lukt: Duft av frukter og noe krydder.
Utseende: Klar kastanje rødbrun farge.
Skum/kullsyre: Tykt kremfarget skum. En del kullsyre.
Smak: Nydelig smak av frukter og krydder.
Hvor: "Kjøpt@VP Nærbø, Nydt@Hjemme
Medium: Flaske@750ml, ABV@10%
Kommentar: Stort poff ved åpning, mye trykk i den flasken. Flaske fra polet som Delirium Christmas. Godt øl å nyte ved peisen på kvelden etter en god middag.

Rated based on notes taken 24 Feb 2012 -- A sample at a tasting. I was less impressed by this winter beer versus their Nocturnum. This had been sitting on the shelves for a while though, so not really sure it’s quality at serving.

Had the 2010 of this. Poured from a bottle at Delilahs Christmas tasting. Orange with a shit load of sentiment in it. Massive beer. Smells like rubbing alcohol. Fruity banana and pine. Crazy

750ml ($12.55) really good beer and especially smooth for a 10% abv beer. I liked this a lot and will be having some next december as well.

11.2 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, mostly cherry, malts and yeast. Taste is sweet and fruity, some malts and cereal notes. Very good Belgian, quite drink and very enjoyable.
