Bottle. Brown with a bit of haze and some off white head. Aroma is fruity, berries, yeasty, bit of caramel, very nice. Medium body, light sweetness, fruit and malt on palate, very solid.

Appearance; dark chestnut. Aroma: very perfumy, dark fruit and whiskey notes. Taste: spicy and sweet fruits, strong whiskey flavors. Finish: long finish, slightly acidic and the back of the throat burns a bit. Notes: Aggressive, but tastes like Christmas. Strong and dark, definitely a winter beer.

330 ml bottle. Pours a reddish amber with a little transparency. There is a lot of yeast sediment floating, but this seems to be the case with most Delirium beers. There’s a thin white head that disappears quickly, but my bottle might be a little old. This beer benefits a lot from warming up a little, as you get more sense of the aroma. Smell is mostly of dark fruits, such as plums and figs. Flavor matches the aroma nicely. Some plums, raisins, and light malts with little bitterness. Taste was initially a bit metallic but this went away after the beer was warmed. Finish is pretty nice; it masks the alcohol nicely for a 10% ABV, but there is a slight warming. This is a great holiday beer and certainly warrants a repurchase. A great combination of aroma and flavor. Great if you like plums.

Prune and raisin aroma. Clear chestnut colored, medium cream colored head. Sweet cherry and plums, in that order. Alcohol blends in nicely. Fruity and sweet, it makes for a nice holiday treat.

On the sixth day of Christmas....I had some delirium in a bottle. Pours a ruby brown with tan head. Aroma is caramel, bread, vanilla/cinnamon and plums. Taste is spicey with a noticeable alcohol warming on the finish. The spiceyness lingers.

Probably my favorite Christmas beer so far, alongside St. Bernardus Christmas.
