3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 TLNash886 (228) - Idaho, USA - JAN 6, 2010
750 mL bottle pours dark amber into a chalice with zero head, bit of lacing. Aroma of apple, fig, plumb, brown sugar, floral/grassiness, sweet malt, yeast. Starts with the brown sugar, malt pulls all the way, spice apples and plumb bloom, leading into a sweet, spicy, yeasty finish. Little bit of booze is noticeable and pleasant. Spiced apples really come out as it warms. More carbonation than I was expecting, bit over medium with a slick but fuzzy mouthfeel. Loads of sediment in there.

On Tap. Tulune’s SouthSide Saloon Johnstown PA. Cherry/anise aroma. Light Red body with thin dissipating head. Anise and cherry flavor followed by candied malts. Very smooth and sweet, hides the alcohol well

[330ml bottle labelled as "Delirium Christmas", gift from Jim - cheers!] Deep brownish-amber, large beige head and a slight fizz. A yeast bread aroma. Taste is herbal, then lots of brown sugar, a little citrus, then banana. Rather sticky by the end, and the alcohol is very evident. Odd mineral aftertaste, but quite reasonable apart from that.

330ml bottle. Big tanx to Pete in Belgium!
Has a amber body with a off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty and has some spices to it. Flavor also is malty and has some spices to it. Ends quite bitter and dryish. Palate is and overall this is a easier and thiner brew than I thought before trying it.
