Delirium christmas 10.0% bottle. Fruity, with yeasty notes. Alcohol is noticeable. Dark fruits are dominating but also hints of orange peel, a great winter ale.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A strong tasting beer, no surprise here. Bittery, quite some alcohol present, sligthly yeasty (a bit too much for my taste). Nice aftertaste, on the sweet / fruity side.
A surprisingly neutral aroma, just some hops and a bit of alcohol aroma.
Pours a clear dark coppery color with a healthy white head, solid and lasts for some time.
A very decent christmas beer, but I will stick to others instead.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
0,33L bottle, BB 11.2015. Pours hazy dark brown-red. with nice white head. The head stays. Aroma: malt, dark fruits, yeast. Taste is sweet, dark fruits, raisins, slightly metallic, creamy. Alcohol is very noticeable, but not very unpleasant. Overall: would like to try aged version. It tastes slightly more unbalanced than Nocturnum. At the moment alcohol is too dominating, and the flaws are too obvious, but the ageing could change that.
