Medium garnet color with an off white head. Cherries abound in the aroma. Slightly sweet, tart and sour all at once. Alcohol burn at the end of the swallow. Always a great holiday beer.

330 mL bottle- that’s right, I found the little version. Pours a clear, dark ruby with a nice tan head. Great lacing on this one and low carbonation. Aroma is of yeast, dark fruits, candy, cloves. Taste is medium to full-bodied. Starts fruity and spicy but ends with a sort of unpleasant mix of warming alcohol, spice, gingerbread, and sour apple. I guess this is what the Christmas version of Delirium should taste like. I would give it a 3.8 were it not for the pink elephant with a Santa hat on the label.

(Bottle on 2008-11-20) Ruby red colour. Small quicky disappearing fizzy head. Malts and caramel in nose. Fizzy and full bodied palate. Malts, sweetness, some bitterness, some dried plum and tip of cherry like flavours in taste. Bitterness and malts in aftertaste.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2008 Bottle shared by robert at stateline. Light red/ruby color, ok head. Aroma was some spices, fruity, apple and some malt. Wow...really impressed by the flavor. Super smooth. Lots of fruity spices, cinnamon, gingerbread, dark fruits, sweet candy sugar but all well balanced together. I will have to pick up a couple bottles for myself. Thanks Robert!. Finally picked up a bottle for my self, I pretty much think the same thing.....good beer

Dark amber-brown body with a nice beige lacing head. Fruity, exciting spicy aroma of dried fruits (raisins, plum), roasted malts. Thick body, smooth mouthfeel with caramel, sweet candy sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate, fine raisins and plum, some gingerbread taste. Complex for your freaky christmas...

Christian (8043) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2008
Cloudy amber with small flakes, beautiful lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma has raisins and figs, some spice and sherry. Somewhat sweet, fruity and spicy flavour. Too sweet for my taste, and not quite as complex as I would like. Disappointed my high expectations.

330ml bottle, hazy dark amber hue, with a beige head, with some floaties of lee swirling around, yeasty, sweet toasty, grainy, caramelized malt, raisiny nose, with a cookie dough accent, with some dried fig and date notes, within a brandyish aroma when the beer gets warmer, follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet warmth caramel, toasty character, with a hint of crème brulée, some raisiny, pruney fruitiness, with a mild note of cookie dough, and sugar pie, with a light port, brandyish mouthfeel, leading towards a sweet malty, warming finish.
