At Total Wine’s "Winter Brew" tasting class 11/29/12. Good, strong aroma of malts; flavor is malty and smooth. Need more of this to get a sense of the different flavors. Finishes smoothly at the back of the throat. Deceiving - easy to drink despite the high alcohol content.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Colour is reddish brown with a decent beige head. Aroma of fruit, caramel, and a touch of spice. Taste is dark fruit, caramel, and spice. Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a pink elephant.

Kind of similar with Tremens, but amber, lots of carbonation and soapy head. Subtle caramel and fruity flavor, hoppy and dry, light body. Nice beer but overcarbonated

Drinking from a 33cl bottle. In the aroma I smell peaches and alcohol The clear, copper coloured beer had a small off-white head that disappears completely. In the taste mainly sweetness and alcohol. High carbonated

Aroma: Banana esters, yeast, spices.
Body: Medium body that is a bit oily and too much yeast sediments in it, low carbonation.
Flavour: Caramel, sweet fruit, vinous.
Comment: Might have gotten a bit too oxidized over the years.

Delirium christmas 10.0% bottle. Fruity, with yeasty notes. Alcohol is noticeable. Dark fruits are dominating but also hints of orange peel, a great winter ale.
