Bottle... Poured amber/honey with an off-white head. Nose had lots of fruit tones with a caramel sweetness. Mild, foamy palate, some sweet apple tones, a bit vinous. Little boozy, honey, oak, malts, butter, cookie dough.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2006 Bottle: Hazy brown orange with a thin white head, starts and ends sweet, aroma has apples, spices and bread. Watch out for the cork, mine hit the celling and came back fast. Great beer, but for the price I’d rather have two Unibroue’s

Thanks SS! Medium murky brown, decent head. Aroma of cola, perfume, and alcohol. Plums with a note of chocolate, more perfume, a touch of cola, and that Huyghe yeast. Nice. Very reminiscent of the Nocturnum. Nice mouthfeel.

Delirium Noel 2001: On the pour a delicious orange to cherry red color as it sits in the glass. The body covered by a voluminous head, frothy in texture that melts to a fine sheet of lace that drapes the glass. Aroma’s of ripe fruit, such as pineapple and banana with hints of yeast also an underlying malt sweetness, quite a refreshing. Start is agreeably sweet, the top voluptuous in feel, the finish has a razor-sharp acidity and the hops scrumptiously hopped, malt dry aftertaste that has a slight alcohol bitterness. The big 10% ABV, warms the tummy and seals off a quite quaffable beer. Ranks #313 on my current 1000 beer master list.
