Bottle. Delirium Christmas. Pours a nice clear amber-brown colour with a huge creamy long lasting off-white head leaving a very nice lacing. Aroma of dark fruits, alcohol, caramel and spices. Chanpagne mouthfeel. Sweet, roastish, spicy, caramel, dark fruity, alcoholic flavour. Warm up the belly for sure. Great brew!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Theis (8349) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2006
Bottle at ØLbaren - shared with Bager. Clear deep red - white head. Fruity, licorice, high sweetness, spicy, too high carbonation - kills some flavors. Not complex enough.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 thewolf (8245) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours deliciously dark burgundy with first a fizzy head that settles as a ½ cm off-white cream on top. Stunning aroma - berries, coriander, yeast and sweetness. Much fuller than you’d expect. Flavours begind sweet with heavy malty tones - quite musty. Then the fruityness prevails ending with subtle bitterness (in a toffee way) with an alcoholic tone at the end.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Christian (8043) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2008
Cloudy amber with small flakes, beautiful lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma has raisins and figs, some spice and sherry. Somewhat sweet, fruity and spicy flavour. Too sweet for my taste, and not quite as complex as I would like. Disappointed my high expectations.

It is beautiful, dark amber with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of malt, caramel, berries, yeast and fruit. The flavour has sweetness and notes of malt, caramel, yeast, spice, berries, dark fruit and alcohol. The overall impression is rather vinous.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 bierkoning (7776) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - DEC 16, 2003
Big creamy head. Malty aroma with a hint of red berries. Alcoholic and sharp. Malty flavor with apples and red berries. Nutty bitter aftertaste. I really don't understand the high ratings. The beer isn't well balanced at all. The alcohol dominates.
