Pours a dark amber color. Smell is not good at all. Don’t know what it is exactly, but the combination of things makes the smell just bad. Aftertaste bad as well. Nice color and good carbo and body, but the most important criterias kind of suck.

330ml bottle, hazy dark amber hue, with a beige head, with some floaties of lee swirling around, yeasty, sweet toasty, grainy, caramelized malt, raisiny nose, with a cookie dough accent, with some dried fig and date notes, within a brandyish aroma when the beer gets warmer, follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet warmth caramel, toasty character, with a hint of crème brulée, some raisiny, pruney fruitiness, with a mild note of cookie dough, and sugar pie, with a light port, brandyish mouthfeel, leading towards a sweet malty, warming finish.

Gorgeous dark garnet hue, ruby-ish, really. with a very good, puffy, creamy head, slowly subdiding, leaving lace. Aroma: big, fat sweetness, extra-large fruit, cherries, grapes, strawberries, apricots, with an added dose of sugar..I like it a lot! Taste: wonderful hop appearance on the palate at first, slightly bitter, full of fruit, backed up with fantastic fruitiness, through the malt, perhaps. Every sip and gulp provides a glorious reward, fresh and delicious, with a tangy taste, sugary as all gets-out, but never too sweet, just enough, and ever-so-tasty. Full-body, nice finish, decent texture, ...I can't really ask for more from this brew, it pleases in so many ways. This yeasty , fruity delight is a truly appropriate guard against the abominable chill of a Minnesota January. If I may note, this bottle has been aged one year, at least, (hmmm, the cork says "2001"?0, and it tastes fantastic! Better than fresh? I wouldn't know...I'm just going to enjoy it, for now..Alcoholic content becomes more prevalent later on, and really kicks after the middle. Happy Late January, Everyone!

Amber appearance. Big white head. Very fruity aroma. Flavour is sour and metallic. Huge amounts of yeast in the finish. Not a pleasant beer. Too sticky and too sweet.

11.2 oz Bottle from Frugal MacDoogal for $2.99. Pours copper amber with a huge tan retentive head and effervescent carbonation . Sugary malt and spicy nose. Medium bodied with a mild spritziness on the tongue. Flavor of raisen, pumpkin spices, and Belgian yeast. Dusty and phenolic finish, with some warmth from the alcohol. Not bad
