(Tap) Pours a hazy reddish brown color with almost no head. Light dusty aroma includes some spice... maybe clove or allspice... and light hops. Interesting taste incorporates the spice and some vanilla notes with dark fruit as well. I caught some apple notes, yeast notes, and lots of candy sugar as well. Above average mouthfeel with fine carbonation. I couldn’t drink this on a daily basis, but I think it’s an exceptional beer overall.

2003 Vintage - Clear sparkling ruby body topped by a medium off-white head. Sweet and spicy aroma, bubblegum and dark fruit (plums?). The flavor is spicy and sweet, alot like the aroma. Body is medium and the alcohol is noticeable. Pretty decent beer.

Pours reddish amber with a fully receding off-white head. Aroma of heavy phenols, toffee, and caramelized sugar. Notes of apple and bret. Mouthfeel is full bodied, sticky with soft carbonation. This one had been aging for 2 years, and had gotten a bit too phenolic and acidic.

Nice red/brownish color,Big white head that lasted for a nice long time and in fact seemed to take forever to disappear, leaving a nice lace behind.Fruity, yeasty aroma with an almost juicy fruit gum like smell, also it seemed to be very sweet smelling. The taste was quite nice, spicy and fruity with a mild hop presence but mostly spice is prevelant in this brew with a few fleeting hints of other flavors like fruit and malt.It also manages to come off as quite sweet IMO.Not a bad brew at all,in fact usually belgium brews scare me,they seem unpredictable and usually make me wince when i drink them but this one doesn't do that.Very much worth trying.

Dark garnet, big foamy head and a bunch of lace. Nose is of cloves and bananas. Smooth and lightly oily. Nice and spicy and slightly citric. A tad too sweet but no major complaints.
