11.2 oz bottle. nose is cherry, spice, and candy canes (those colored ones that taste fruity) . Taste was same but a bit over the top.. I wasn’t impressed. This could be biased bc it was comsumed out of a solo cup in between drinking a different strong ale.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2011 Pours murky amber with a small white head. Aroma is of sweet apples but has a bit sharp alcoholic edge. Nice flavor of caramel, mint, licorice. Sweet and slightly sour. Very well carbonated. Long bitter finish where unfortunately the high alcohol content becomes prominent again. Decent beer overall.

Pours mahogany with a thin white foamy head with some spotty. Doughy nose, some malts, a bit of yeast blend together nicely. Some hints of fruit in there, a bit of coriander. Lots of spice in the flavor, coriander mostly, a hint of the yeast/dough in there as well. Full bodied, finishing off with a bit of hops. Nice seasonal Belgian.

750 ml 2005 bottle brought to a tasting by frizzzzle and shared with csbosox and Indra. Poured a firey copper with a stone colored head. Lots of Brussels lace. Aromas of peach, mint, berries, Juicey Fruit, and some yeast. I caught flaovrs of smoke(?) cherry, some citrus, sugars and tartness. Really nice on the palate. Nice drink.

Surprized I haven’t rated this yet. Sample given from a random friend at Churchill’s pub. Cloudy red orange. Strong banana notes in the smell. Maybe a hint of diacetyl. Fairly nice beer.

750ml bottle. Merry Xmas! Pours an amber color with a foamy off white head. Nose is sweet candies, lightly malty. Taste is sweet sugary, light candies, some brown sugar, caramel sweet malt. Finishes lightly bitter with and leaves a nice velvet layer in the mouth.
