Nice white bottle. Honey aroma with touch of clove. Amber pour. This is a hoppy Belgique brew with touches of caramel and pine. Another fine ale from Delirium.

Draught. A nice dark orange color with a full, off-white head. The aroma is of sweet fruits and a touch of yeast. The flavors are well blended. Soft fruits, spices, yeast. The alcohol is present, but in the background. A tasty and dangerous beer.

Dark ruby red color. Strong alcohol nose and flavor. Dark fruit - plums, raisins. Nice nutty spice in the end. Enjoyable.

Darkover (1440) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2005
Dark amber with a huge creamy beige head. Aroma of yeast and malt. Flavor of yeast, sweet malt, spices, and some sourness. Pretty drinkable considering the alcohol.

33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Beer Ritz Leeds. Brilliantly clear amber-ruby with a patchy beige head. Rasin, prune, xmas pudding and treacle aroma. More carbonated than expected, though helps to expand the flavour. Sweet, molasses and allspice come through, then a medium alcohol tinged finish. One of the best xmas belgians I think.

Arayaga2 (1435) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 9, 2009
Sweet apple peary aroma with slight sharp vinous esters. Taste is the same with belgiany spice. Well and subtly carbonated, and some astringency and fusels come through in the finish. $10/750

joeneugs (1423) - Livermore, California, USA - JAN 2, 2011
Pours amber red with a small, disappearing khaki head. The aroma is fruit and spices; mostly cinnamon, apples, plums, pears, and a bit of brown sugar. It’s has a surprisingly weak body and little complexity. Kind of a boring beer actually.

Not hugely impressed by this. Indelicately sweet. Mega malt on the nose and stuffy tropical fruit in the mouth. Not Christmassy at all.
