On tap, winter sampling at Acadia. Poured a rich yellow color. Rich, sweet banana smell with a little noticable alcohol odor. Very slick mouthfeel, sweet and malty flavor with a warming finish. An easy drinker that I will revisit again.

Sampled in the big bottle. Pours deep brown and lots of carbonation. This beer is all malted barley. Really quality brew, full of quality spicing. Nice brew.

Ruddy orange with a loose, casual tan head. Citrus aroma with some star anise and alcohol. Citrus, malt, caramel and licorice in the flavor. Medium bodied with a hot alcohol finish. Some lingering earthiness on the tongue. Not bad but not great.

Wanted something decent for my 300th listing. Can’t say this is all my Christmases coming at once but it’s a reasonably satisfying winter warmer. Poured the colour of Christmas pud, with a monstrous pillowy head that took an eternity to settle. Aroma of cloves, sultanas, figs - and yes, some Christmas pudding. Firm, syrupy body. Oodles of sweet dark malt up front, raisins, peppery alcohol and chocolate orange. The finish is all about warming alcohol, rather than hops but that’s hardly surprising, given the abv. It’s a touch too sweet and the alcohol is a little unintegrated. By the end of the bottle I had that Christmas Day feeling - I’ve had too much alcohol and sugar. (Bottle, branded "Delirium Christmas", best before Sep 2006)

Bottle, dark reddish color, lots of head. A bit less flavor than tremens, but with more alcohol. Great to try but not as good as tremens.

pours a hazy dark orange with a large light beige foamy head, heavy carbonation, and a very good lacing. smell is of caramel, dark fruits, spice, and roasted nuts and malts. taste is thick, very carbonation, burnt caramel, roasted malt, dark fruits, white pepper, and spice, ends somewhat bitter and with a definite alcohol warming.

750ml bottle. Pours a rich cloudy amber color with a slight creamy head that dissipates quickly. The aroma has a hint of fruits as well as a nice blend of spices. Taste starts with a blast of sweet maltiness then a healthy amount of hops mix with alcoholic warming. Finishes up dry and very drinkable. A great winter ale.
