Appearance rating gets one full point for the incredible label art and nice painted bottle. Beer pours amber/ruby red with a big off white head that mostly dissipates. Aroma is strongly candy sugar with some yeast and a dash of spice. Flavor is very nice with dried fruit on the front end, some wonderful yeast notes and a nice dry, spicy lingering finish. Very nice holiday beer. I think I am going to go back and pick up another one for my cellar.

Delirium Christmas, 0,75l bottle. Bottled 2004, bb dec 2006. Fruity aroma of strawberries, peach and red grapes. Oaky. Looks orange, a bit hazy, with a long-lasting peach-coloured head. Extremely fruity, oak and portwine flavours. Nice thick foamyness and long finish.

I really didn’t taste a lot of the flavors I normally associate with xmas such as ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, rather I got a little bit of spice, pears, sour apples, plums, yeast and some candi or brown sugars. Very drinkable though, 10% is hidden. The appearance is nice, amber-brown color, nice fluffy off-white head that sticks around. I admit I expected a little better but this is still passable as a good beer. On to the next xmas beer!

11.2 ounce bottle in Westmalle goblet. Hazy brown with lasting flat tan head. Brown sugar, anise, and raisin wine aroma with slight alcohol evap. Caramel and brown sugar sweetness, nice round fruitiness, raisins and ripe cherries, very mild tobacco and spice finish. Medium body and medium low carbo. This is a damn fine beer. I was somewhat skeptical, I admit. I think this is very tasty and pleasant and, of course, strong.

Pours a murky brown with large off white head. Nose is spices, candy sugar, sweet malts. Flavor is crisp malt sweetness, aromatic spices, belgian yeast flavors or clove etc., yeast and bread.

Rustyham (1303) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 29, 2009
Aroma is of candied apricots and sugar plums, probably the best aroma I have ever smelled. I almost don’t want to drink, just keep smelling it, or mix it with wax and make a scented candle. Flavor, though, is kind of lame- meaty and yeast, rather salty, too. Probably because it was brewed before Christmas and it’s now summer. Bottle at Lucky Liquors, Miami, Fl.

33cl bottle shared with Kermis & courtesy of Kermis. Vintage 2007. Almost no carbonation. Aged very well. Quite yummy!

Aroma- spice and apple/plum. Color - copper hues and some purple. Didnt sit too well on my palate, almost tough to drink the last few sips. Tasted the alcohol, very drying on my throat. Could have been masked better. Overall, pretty decent.
