Bottle. Pours a reddish brown color with white head. Yeasty, banana, clove aromas. Belgian yeast, fruity, apricot, malty flavors. Very flavorful and drinkable Belgian Christmas ale. Definitely doesnt taste like 10%

Bomber into a tulip. Pours a medium golden amber, with a medium white head that persists. decent lacing. Nose is malt, caramel, and dark fruit. Taste follows the nose, with a medium finish. Smooth, creamy mouth feel. Very nice.

Pours hazy deep amber with two fat fingers of light tan head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, spotty lacing. (4/5) Nose is dark fruit, bready malt, Belgian yeast, spices. (8/10) Taste is moderately strong sweet, moderate bitter. (8/10) Medium body, lively to moderate carbonation, off-dry mildly boozy bitter finish. (4/5) Now theres nol in a bottle. Gushed a little on opening, but I was expecting that and caught it all in my Delirium goblet. (Finally using it for the beer it came with!) Opens up very nicely as it warms. Theres an initial urge to drink it down, but pacing yourself will yield a better result, both because the very well-integrated ABV will sneak up on you in a hurry, and because theres some nice complexity there that deserves sipping and savouring. Theres a large malty sweetness at the front, along with boozy dark fruits, but its not unbalanced, and finishes nicely off-dry and bitter. Makes me wish I was back at Caf Delirium in Brussels! (16/20)

Bottle. Pours light hazy dark amber with large creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, syrup, caramel, strawberry jam, sour apples and yeast. Taste is light to medium sweet, light bitter and light umami. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and balanced bitter and sweet with notes of malt, brown sugar, orange juice, apple seeds, rye bread and alcohol.

Pours very heady brown/red. Nose is holiday spices, Belgian yeast, a bit of dark fruits. Taste is spicy hop, yeast character, fruity esters, a bit of malty fruity sweetness but not overwhelming at all. Nice high carbonation, very effervescent. Overall very good.

Aroma of sweet malt, cloves, herbal notes, candy sugar, ripe fruity notes. Flavour is sweet. Okay, but quite sweet and sugary.

Unfortunately, the beer welcomes me with a slight metal note that (luckily) fades quickly. Then there comes the heavy alcohol taste combined with an - for this type of beer - untypical strong sparkle. Hop bitterness sticks on your lips and the mouthfeel is somehow sirupy. Too sparkling for this beer style, not really my thing. And then its heavy, heavy, heavy

Sample at Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. Big, dark and heavy. Plenty of spice and a few mystery ingredients. Quite nice and very flavorful.
