3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 wcampbell (721) - Clemson, South Carolina, USA - DEC 6, 2007
Good, a unique beer. Flavor is fruity and complex with some spices as well. Lightly carbonated and highly drinkable. The finish tastes like a cigarette, very strange.

33cl bottle. Pours a slightly hazy brown colour with a small tan head. Typical Belgian aroma with some fruit and sugar. Really pleasant taste that hides the 10 ABV amazingly well. Flavour of syrup, candied fruit and a little warming alcohol in the finish. Great on a cold day.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 browner (39) - Delafield, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 1, 2007
A romantic cloudy and deep warm brown color with a beautiful light off white head. While the head does not stand long the light effervescent clings to the glass.Quite a bit of carbonation but not as much as sister Delirium. Aromas of malt are masked by an under layment of caramel and spices. Nice finish and while similar to a variety of Belgium Ales it is a nice seasonsonal surprise and more complex than trendy.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 djd07 (1407) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 25, 2009
Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a small off white head that diminishes quickly leaving sticky lacing and a lot of carbonation. The aroma is a sweet fruit with plum and light spice. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet fruit malt with brown sugar and light caramel hiding the alcohol very well making it easy to drink. Enjoyed this one on Christmas 09’
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 oberabcbbsok (686) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - MAY 23, 2007
Tasted it from bottle as well on draft as Delirium Christmas. In belgium we find only the christmas version and not the Noël version so it should be Delirium Christmas. A very nice and strong christmas ale. A beer for the real strong ale lovers. Alcohol is in the taste and a full bodied beer

retention and decent lacing. Brown sugary aroma with lots of
spices, predominantly orange peel and nutmeg. Taste is brown
sugar, orange peel, other spices, cherry. Full bodied. Very nice
beer.

2006 bottle. very nice dark amber on the pour with a tiny head that hung out the whole time i drank my glass. smelled of hops and fruit. actually very light on the palate with a strong alcohol taste that didn’t really overpower too much.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 SSKD814 (854) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2010
300ml bottle
A- An aggressive pour only produces about a 1 finger foamy tan head. This eventually tapers off into a thick collar and little lacing is left behind in the glass. Body is a rich mahogany hue and is cloudy-but not consistently. A transparency lingers in the middle while large bottle conditioned yeast chunks whirl around the body.
S-The nose is dominated by licorice and Belgian spices. A sweet ovetone.
T- Lots of licorice upfront with a solid yeast backbone. Peppery spice comes forward for the swallow along with a strengthening licorice flavor. Lingering on the palate is a yeasty sweetness along with plenty of Belgian spiciness and hints of licorice. A slight alcohol warmth also.
P- High carbonation and medium weight body.
O- This is a big and rich Belgian Christmas Ale that reminds me a lot of Corsendonk. The alcohol is somewhat hidden and this is a drinkable treat-but a little bit to rich for me. I may buy this one again next Christmas.
