Pours clear orange with white head. Aroma has notes of dark fruit, spice, candied nuts, and a touch of apricot. Taste is apricot up front, raisins, some coriander, candied nuts, and caramel. Very nice complex, warming, and delicious.

Dark amber with off white head - malty aroma and olso some belgian yeasty notes - same malty taste along with some hop bitterness and some yeast - a very good and easy drinking beer, alcohol is well hidden

Red brown, small head, malty, somewhat fruity aroma, some yeast in the nose also. Taste is full-bodied, intense, a little bit bitterness, then the alcohol comes in, nice. After that, there are raisins, nutmeg. Good lacing in the glass. Warm and nice beer for cold snowy days.

Bottle. Clear coppery amber pour with a short-lived beige head. Aroma has notes of currants, raisins, blueberries, caramel, cola and grapes. Flavour is very similar to the aroma with lots of fruit, well hidden alcohol and a nice balance between malt, hops and sugar. Light, slightly oily, mouthfeel with prickly carbonation and a lingering bittersweet, mildly sour finish. I think this has changed, like all the Delirium beers, in the last 3 or 4 years but this is still a great ale of it’s type and one of the better Christmas ales going around.

I believe this is the 2008 vintage, with a skiing elephant and red foil. Pours into my goblet with a nice reddish brown and plenty o’ floaties. The head is decently active a bit darker than off-white and leaves some nice lacing. The smell is a bit boozy with tons of candi sugar, dark fruits, some sourness ala geuze or saison, a hint of clovey caramel/chocolate, and heaps of belgian yeast. The taste follows with the sourness. There is also caramel, fruits, and candi sugar. It is sweet but not cloying. Overall a unique Christmas brew but not my favorite, still damn good though. Reddish colour. Aroma of spices and cherries. Flavour is alcohol, sherry, spices, and berries. Sour and somewhat sweet. Gives you a nice, warming feeling just like a winter seasonal should.
