Bottled. I think Huyghe get a lot of bad press because they brew a huge range of beers, alot of which are decidely dodgy. However I think when they think about it they can do a good job, and the Delirium range prove that. This is a dark reddy brown coloured beer which pours with alarge off-white head, which shrinks down but leaves good lacing. the aroma is yeasty with moussey fruit and peppery spices. The taste is also yeasty. The 10% comes through to a certain extent. There are peppery hops and red fruits. Well brewed with a long tasty finish.

Starts with a bang, with some potent fig and apple in the aroma. Looks beautiful murky brown with a solid tan head. Flavor is heavily spiced, with a short toffee punch. The taste in the finish is over immediately, but the (over-)acidity lingers.

Bottle/750ml - Pours a darkish amber in color with a very small white head and plenty of floating yeasty bits. Aroma is slightly sweet and quite fruity with mostly dark fruits. Flavor is also a bit sweet initially with lots of the dark fruit (prunes, dates, figs, etc.) and some caramel or brown sugar. Yeast is definitely Belgian in origin and its fruity esters add to the overall fruitiness of the beer. Alcohol is well masked, but definitely creates a warming as it goes down. Not much for spices, but I liked it anyway. Worth repeating.

A definate holiday party favorite. With the 10% alcohol, this beer really packs a whallop. Pours a pale red color with a pink frothy head that dissapates quickly, definately not the most apopetizing start. However, the aroma is of dark plums and cherries, giving the impression that this beer will have a fruity taste with a weak texture. Not so, however. The flavor is mildly fruity and has a palate that is more winelike than anything. Very nice for the season.

Had it on draft. A good belgian ale. Nicely spiced and sweet. Definitly some noticable alcohol, especially in the end. Also a slight hop presence. A very respectable beer.
