Ruddy brownish chestnut colored pour with a sturdy foamed head. Yeasty Belgian maltyness to smell with a souring berry cheweyness and lingering musty funk in between. Berry chocolate flavors with cardboard and a deepened staleness that yields a fruited funk ensemble. Medicinal brandy finishing with a champagne sparkle. Good in close proximity to a fire. A solid brew that packs a potent punch.

Bottled 330ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb as Delirium Christmas. Clear amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, coriander in the nose-quite pleasant. Sweet malty, spicy and yeasty with notes of fruits, coriander and alcohol. Also spices and alcohol in the finish. Usual Delirium taste which is not bad at all.

Aroma: Dried figs, alcohol, spices. Taste: Sweet with light bitterness. Light almond bitterness and light sourness in the aftertaste. Overal this is a pleasant and very drinkable strong ale with light spicy notes. Too simple for 10% beer.

330ml bottle. Deep reddish amber with a big frothy head which fades quickly. Nose is very estery and also boozy - the alcohol isnt well integrated. Palate is much better: richly malty and sweet, with barley sugar and some more estery banana notes. I like the carbonation, not too much, not too flat. This beer goes really well with stilton

WTFOMG how had I not rated this??? I popped this bad boy open after a hard day of REAL work assembling a freaking workbench with a bunch of tools - eat that, pencil pushers! Oh well, lets get to this. BTW my wife loves when I crush 750mls of 10%ers on a Monday. All in a days work. You gotta hand it to this one that its a motherfreaking beautiful beer. Deep and clear with garnet hues and a lacy khaki head. Damn girl, you fine! This beer lets you know that its a Belgium. Theres no doubt about that. A straight-up Belgium. Nobody could say it differently. The aroma is Belgium, with candy sugar plums dancing around your nose, or maybe this beer is just making me craaaazy! That pink elephant messes with your dome piece. Deep rich flavor of Belgium, cherries, raisin, and plum. The fruit comes out more after it warms up. Its not sour, but let me get this off my chest: If youre a sour-only clown, youre not a real beer geek. Respect Belgiums other than Cantiloons, fool. The feel is sharp from the yeast and carb, full, and boozy. This is well-crafted. Gotta respect them even though their bar in Brussels is a complete fecal festival.

Aroma is sweet spice, plum, raisin and cinnamon.some candy sugar and clove notes here. Taste is a very nice fruitiness with light liquor warmth. Sweet malts are balanced well with the hop profile. Very nice, both smooth and complex. Appearance is a clear amber with a fluffy pearl head that retains quite well.
