BiddleBrau (1078) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Deep amber reddish color (really nice) with off-white head. Toasted malt nose hit of alcohol. Spicy bite on the tongue followed quickly by malty sweetness that coats the tongue. There is a hint of alcohol initially that fades to the flavor of the hops and malt. Tasty but clearly not a small brew in many respects (standard fare for Delirium). A nice brew to ring in 2013 with.

ABV: 10.0% - Best before October 2017.

Bought at @Beergium last week. I’m looking forward to try my first beer from Brouwerij Huyghe.

It pours hazy with a dark amber, almost copper color. A one finger high head.

Nose: Dark fruit, banana, brown sugar, syrup and sweet malt.
Taste: Red fruit, caramel malt, candied sugar, apple, toffee, cherry, spices, raisin and plum.
Mouthfeel: High carbonation. A bit "sour" mouthfeel. Medium body. Dry ending.

sulawang (836) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 29, 2016
Visual: Pours opaque brownish red with a massive lasting ultra creamy head, 2mm retention, a bit of lacing, fast singular streams. Nose: yeasty honey, apple, banana wheaty candi barley malt (lvl-6)-pungency Attack: crisp, micro tingly-creamy Mid-palate: (lvl-7)-sweetness, micro-fizzy, (MAIN) toffee barley malt, caramel, grape/berry Finish: alcohol zingy, soft bitter hops, alcohol detection, malty residual bubbly clean finish. Summary: Supremely drinkable with expertly hidden 10% ABV; it’s incredible how smooth they made it. Great beer from start to finish.

Bottle from Kumiyama AEON Mall liquor shop. Sweetish nose, with caramel, yeast, dark fruit, spice, and candi sugar. Dark reddish-copper color, fat foamy head, and thick lace. Bready initial, heavy maltiness, dried fruit, cloves, light orange peel. A bit overcarbonated and foamy on the tongue. But full and very much a decent strong Belg Ian ale.
