Pours a dark amber/ruby with a crazy amount of particulate. Intense aroma of fruits, sugar and malts. Fruity/sweet taste up front to a light hop finish., Hop finish. Booze is well muted. Damn good

A very dark amber beer with a third finger head. 330 in a Chimay glass - this glassware is etched with carbon dioxide release in mind, but this beer is simply volcanic. Belgian yeast dance in the nose with brown sugar, dates, and spices. Marked best by 3/11, and still excellent. Wallop of candy sweetness, some alcohol and subtle bitterness. Creamy body engulfs the palate and makes itself at home. The elephant dances...and very well at that. Curiously, peeling the red wrapper back reveals an old ’Lucifer’ cap - a recently resurrected beer not related to Huyghe in an way. One of the world’s best, in my humble opinion.

Brown colour. Aroma is quite strong with sweet maltiness dominating. Rich flavour. Quite sweet and has some dried fruits coming through.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 esox (686) - Oulu, FINLAND - FEB 2, 2012
Bottled. Hazy orange to copper colour. Thin beige head. Aroma has lots of sweet fruitiness and christmasy spices: raisins, plums, dates, orange peel andiseed and a hint of cloves and cinnamon. Dark candi sugas and molasses give sugary sweet flavor. Low bitterness. Medium bodied, sticky texture with some alcohol warmth. Soft carbonation. Quite enjoyable but not the freshest beer ever.

Another good Belgian. I may be changing my favorite style soon.
WHat I enjoyed about this great brew was the nice blend of bread, spice and alcohol. It even had a hint of banana bread an caramel malts to it.
Very well blended.

33 cl. bottle @ ‘t Waagstuk – the only Delirium beer I hadn’t tried yet, always passing it over in favour of better options – colour is an incredibly bright ruby amber with a grey white head, volatile herbs, dissolvent, windex, churned cough syrup, rotting malts, plastic fruits, revolting Belgian yeast, this is artificial & downright gross and nasty
