Draught at Friends of Ham. I like almost all fruit beers but this one was sickening. It was like drinking kool aid filled with excess sugar and spiked with alcohol. It was refreshing but Would have happily traded this for my husbandís Kernel.

Smells like cherry soda. Sparkling red with a fairly lasting white head. Pretty sweet, loaded with cherry syrup flavor. Medium bodied.

Where and how: b. 750 ml
Aroma: plenty of cherry, mild tartness. Very clean, pleasant presentation. Mild dryness to it, slight peppery hints. Alcohol worked very well with set up.
Appearance :
Top: medium plus , tanned creamy feel. Lace and rings on glass.
Base: murky brown
Palate : medium bodied, smooth.
Taste: rewarding, approachable fruit character. Balanced, old school vibe.
other notes feels simplistic, but fruit, alcohol and malt set up hits all the right spots. Underrated.

Bottle. Deep plum/purple colour with a red/purple head. Nose is ripe cherries, but not zingy or overpowering. Taste matches, cherry in a malt beer, theres a little bit of sourness, a little bit of sweetness. Thereís some almonds, a little confection. Cherry marzipan. The sourness eases off as you get used to the ale. An interesting take on a cherry beer. These are never going to be my "thing", but this is ok and drinkable.

Cloudy, plum coloured fruit beer with pink foam. Smell of cherry Soothers (throat sweets) with later hint of blueberries. Sweet and light, with a light body- very carbonated. Overall- very easy and enjoyable to drink would be mistaken for a low alcohol %, would recommend.

Cloudy deep cherry color with medium pink foam. Aromas on sweet side, not too strong, but can get thet sweet cherry syruop/jam. Very sugary aromas, bit on cidery side of fermented cherries or cherry cider. Palate, medium with medium body and texture, leaves nice long sour cherry finish. Taste of cherries, bit sour and sweet at the same time but in good balance. Overall good fruit beer, maybe one of the best ones so far, this does not taste like juice actualy has some beer to it and is nice, not overwhelmingly sweet or sour, just right. Definatly worth a try!

8%ABV. Strong Ale. Poured out of the bottle a dark reddish brown. 25ļSRM with a reddish tinge. The color overall was strangely reminiscent of a red velvet sponge. The nose is clean, sweet, heavily malty. Not cloying. No cane sugar like heaviness. There is a very pleasantly beery nose, something with an inviting wheaty yeastiness. There is a fruity dimension to the sweet nose, like ripe cherries. No estery heaviness. The palate is carbonated and respectably well-malted. You appreciate this briefly before the palate is dominated by a bold fruity sourness, where you get yet more cherries. This then transitions very rapidly into a herbaceous bitterness that is like fresh lemon zest or that you get when you bite into fresh citrus peel. [Again, Iím letting my palate tell me what Iím tasting here before reading the commercial deScription. ] The finish is bitter hoppy and brief. Then left with a clean wheaty or witbier like aftertaste. Clean, light and pleasant. I like it! Goes on Favorites List! Recommendation notes: Strong fruity cider for those looking for something sweet, but also not too girly.

Bottle from Maro. Not really my style but it was ok. The sour cherry notes tasted almost synthetic. A hint of candy and bread, finished sour.
