Bottled 330ml (Saveur)
Deep ruby color, small pinky head. Aroma has cherries, almond and sweetness. Medium-bodied. Light tartness in the otherwise sweet cherry flavor. Aftertaste is even dryish with touch of wood. This is kind of Lindemans Kriek imitation. Feels less alcoholic than 8 %. Lacks depth of krieks.

Tap at Little Delirium. Hazy red brown with big pink head. Lots of artificial fruit up front with chewing gum and cast. Then some sweet malts, sugar and a touch of yeast. Medium to strong sweetness with metallic bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. Not horrible, but especially the smell and initial aroma is way too artificial for me.

Sour cherries and almond with dried fruits aroma. Cloudy plum appearance. Taste of cherries with a little sweetness, sourness and almond.

Poured from bottle into a delirium tremes glass Appearance – The beer pours a deep ruby red color with a thick and billowy head of pink foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, very slowly fading over time to leave a ton of foamy pink lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is massive of a sweet red fruit smell with tons of raspberry, cranberry and cherry. Along with these aromas are some lighter sour notes of a lemon nature as well as some slightly hay like and grassy smells mixed with a hint of yeast. Taste – The taste begins as the nose would have depicted with a whole lot of a sweet red fruit taste of cranberry and raspberry. As the taste moves on the sweet remains, but is joined by some notes of yeast and some hay. Toward the end however a slightly off sweet taste comes to the tongue, bringing with it a slightly metallic taste. Some funky sour lemon and cherry join the taste at the end and with the rest of the flavors leaves a sweet and red fruited, but slightly cloying and metallic flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side for a brew of 8 % abv with a carbonation level that is rather average to slightly higher. For the fruity nature of the brew, the thinner body and higher carbonation are rather appropriate and make it an easier and slightly more refreshing brew. Overall – Very red fruit but somewhat off in flavor due to a little bit of metallic and oddly sweet tastes. OK, but by no means worth going for over the other delirium brews especially in light of its rather hefty (330 ml for $6.25) price tag.

Pretty good Belgium style cherry beer. Not my usual but I would buy it again for sure.

Bottle. Clear red with pink, quite big head. In aroma mainly artificial cherry/red berry aroma with some malty base - rather not very pleasant. Still better than a taste - sweet, artificial, candylike with a hint of sourness. Only good thing about taste - 8% ABV completely hidden. You can drink it as a overly sweet soda. Disappointment.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2015 Compra: Hipercor San Juan. Opinión: Sólo sabe a cerezas y alcohol.
