Couleur sombre, reflets rouges, lgre mousse. Nez de cerises sirupeuses. Gout de cerises aux sirop avec fin cerises noires et fruits rouges, notes astringentes. Pas trop mal mais on notes des extrais de fruits et des sucres asparatam.

Tap: Dark crimson, bloody red body with a lightly lavender tinted foam on top. Cherry juice aroma, very sweet & almost syrupy with a sweet tart, candy-ish essence. Doesnt smell super medicinal like I was fearing, or like many others have stated. Just a light touch of yeast esters & spice. But mostly cherry. Flavor is all cherry, like drinking cherry juice. Smallest hint of tartness, but mostly sweet from front to back. Tastes back sweetened, actually, with lots of residuals clinging to the teeth in the finish. Mild hints of lightly spicy Belgian yeast are the only things I get other than sweet cherry juice. Kind of wears on you with time. A little too sweet in the long run, for me. But not nearly as awful as many have said....Its just not very sustainable.

Bottle, pours a deep red body with a pink head. Aroma of cherries and tart fruit. Taste is similar with a bit of nuttiness. Nice effervescence. Tart finish.

Almost opaque reddish brown with finger-thick pink foam crown. Sweet aroma and sweet, sweet lemonade flavour. Good for people who want to get drunk quickly.

Im torn on this one. The color is great, dark red, with great pinkish lacing. Just carbonated enough. Its a tad tacky and sweet. There is an interesting cherrie note, that quickly turns into a Nyquil\cough medicine cherrie. There is a hint of sour but not enough to overcome the sweet. An interesting drink but not even close to what one would expect from Brouwerij Huyghe.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 7/11/2014. Pours hazy nearly opaque reddish brown color with a 1 finger dense pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sweet/tart cherry, raisin, plum, caramel, candi sugar, bread, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast/fruit earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of cherries, fruity/spicy yeast, and dark malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big sweet/tart cherry, raisin, plum, caramel, candi sugar, bread, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast/fruit earthiness. Fair amount of fruity tartness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart cherry, raisin, plum, caramel, candi sugar, bread, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of cherries, fruity/spicy yeast, and dark malt flavors; with a great sweetness/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly syrupy mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian fruit beer. All around great balance and complexity of cherries, fruity/spicy yeast, and dark malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Sweet, fruity, cherry, artificial, Belgian yeast phenolics. Dark deep murky ruby red. Sweet, artificial cherry, lightly medicinal and alcohol, some of the base beer character follows but dominated but fake cherry.
