Bottle @ home. Pours hazy red with a small white and reddish head and lots a lacing. Aroma?...all over my livingroom - and it now smells like cherries, strawberries, raspberries, melon...and other undefinable fruits. The taste is very sweet and unsurprisingly very fruity. It has a bitter and tangy aftertaste with a bit of alcohol in it. Not as bad as I expected, but not really for me. I hope I can get the blue one that I originally wanted the next time. ;-)

Douberd (633) - NETHERLANDS - APR 22, 2013
330 ml bottle, wrapped with red foil around the neck and the crown cap. Poured into a tulip glass at home. ABV 8% Pours a clear and deep red colour beer, with one finger of pink-ish head, with good retention and very light lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherries, sugars and it has also a bit of a lactic smell, like a cherrie ice cream. Taste is sweetg at first, with lots of cherries, but becomes a very tasty sweet sour on the aftertaste. Less lactic now and more acidic. Medium thickness on the body, quite carbonated. Tart on the palate. Very nice beer, I opened it after work expecting to drink a strong belgian ale when I noticed the cherries on the elephant’s ear on the label, and I was a bit disappointed by that, but it turned out to be really good.

Beerheart65 (680) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 12, 2013
deep dark red, pinkish thin head leaves bit lacing. Aroma has mildly fresh berries, cranberries, cherry, quite natural aroma, bit sweet and sour. Good palate, sour-sweet, medium body, soft with mild carbonation, easy to drink, finish has lots berries. Liked this one a lot, looks match the great taste.

Deep blood red, pinkish head; fresh cherry aroma; very sweet cherry flavoured beer; very, very sweet, in fact, but surprisingly palatable - maybe the base beer is just good enough to prevent this being a too-sweet novelty; I can see why people would hate it, but I got the same saccharine enjoyment out of it as I did from necking sugar cubes as a kid.

Lore (426) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 31, 2013
hazy red colour, minimal pinkish head; aroma of cherry; taste is dominated by sweetness...too much sweetnes with cherry and alcoholic notes; drinkable, but very far from its competitors (e.g. Kasteel Rouge).

330 ml. bottle. Opaque red to brown colour, small head ( at least for what you expect in a Delirium), leaving a ring. Smell of cherries, vanilla and spices. Medium carbonation and body, taste is tart, with cherries, vanilla, fruits... and medicinal syrup. I could give it another try, but it’s not exactly my favourite Delirium.
