Huge, dense off-pink head over hazed, purplish-ruby beer. Strawberry essence, bit gassy nose, fruitcookies. Again this "gassy" flavour, giving it a flavour of lightly spiced strawberrycake. Fruit candy, just short of cloying. Sticky, syrupy, to a bit artificially beefed-up body. Alcohol however remains hidden. Its potency might be its main argument. Not many "fruit"drinks in this segment. Still, wàààày too sweet for me.

Very intense cherry aroma.Very very sweet, not unlike a cherry marmalade. I like it a lot. Very lively with a velvety body. Taste: Mmmm. Starts nice. Bitter (not hoppy) character with a superficial sweetness. Not very fruity. Warm alcohol palate. It’s kinda weird. Easy going. Not sure whether I like it, but it sure has a character of its own. Finish: That’s where it falls short. Some astringent bitternes with no evidence of hops, whatsoever. What is left is not pleasant, it’s more like a leftover finish. Great aroma, but not so great finish. That’s a shame, really, since i ’d rather have a Timmermans. Good try, though.

DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2012
330ml bottle. Deep, claret-red capped with an abrupt, pinkish-beige head. Jam-sweet, Tunes-accented nose all sugared fruit and honey. Pungent Tunes and honey sweetness demolishing any trace of alcohol. Or beer. Full-sugar, soda slick: tacky on the rim of the glass like its been encrusted with cherry flavoured sugar. Just enough fruit and tang to save it from the plug hole. A tooth-rotting ladybeer. But a good one.

Deep red coloration. Opaque. Highly carbonated. Whiteish pink head. Tart, very cherry, and a far cry from the other Delirium beers. Still, if fruit is your thing, this isn’t bad. Tried at the Bruges bierfest in 2012 with Jess and Dave.

33cl bottle. Rubi colour with a frothy, creamy, good lasting and nice lacing pink head. Aroma has cherry notes with some sweetness. Flavour is sweet at the beginning, with red fruits hints, where cherries and berries are present. The final is moderate bittery an acidic with an average duration. Carbonation is medium to lively. Body is medium.

Swaroga (355) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 7, 2012
33cl bottle. Pours a cherry like red with almost no head. Nose : It has a strong fruity aromas , especially the cherry. It smells like candy. Sip : fluffy and creamy with existing yet very low carbonation. Sweet with obvious notes of fruits and some aromas of yeast. It hides the alcohol more then good and it is easy to drink. Carefull there. Despit the alcohol, it’s a delicate fruit beer and will be my choice if someone asks me about a fruit beer.
