3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle from "Cerveteca" bar in Lisbon. Pours a very golden color with a very large and thick white head that lasted very well. Aroma is of yeast. perfume and herbal hops. Flavor is yeasty (almost like bread), little sweet, booze, citrus, banana and cloves at the end, with a bitter aftertaste. It had a mild carbonation with a medium body and a dry finish with a mild presence of alcohol. A very well balanced beer, I would drink it again.

One of my favourite beers in the world. A little sweetness and clearly some alcohol in the taste, but still very elegant!

Like Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way. Pours a lovely golden color with off white head. Head retention is OK, but not magnificent. Extraordinary balance on the taste, especially for a high alcohol beer. Basically, this is the standard by which a golden Belgian strong may be judged.

Nagyon selymes, és krémes habja van, az illata nagyon kellemes. Az íze intenzív, karakteres, érezni a magas maláta és a komlót is. Nagyon jó sör

Head has dank cheese-mold pungency. Hints of formic acid finished off with a nice tang of yeasty beery alcoholic vapor.
Nice malty hit on first taste which rapidly evaporates into a lengthy hoppy slide to the end. A bit clingy on the palate.

Pours a light hazy straw with crisp white head. Aroma is of basement, yeast, fruit and leather. Taste of honey, booze, gum, and a little vinous as well. Has a sweet and surprisingly big mouth feel with medium carbonation and a nice dry finish. For such a strong yeasty Belgium ale it was quite quaffable and easy to drink.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste fruit, sweet, Carmel. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again.

Always when I drink this beer I have a good feeling. This beer is so perfect by its style. The cream is in good quantities and keep "working" with the carbonation. The taste is very sweet, caramel and a little alcoholic. But the yeast bring a taste so good of citrus and floral, and a little of clove and banana. The yeast is the body of this beer, but, this beer is so balanced that everything fills so right that you can’t say that have something more intense.
So good, I really like this beer!

A golden beer with a medium white head. Taste is like fruit, citrus, yeast and some light bitter. Aftertaste is bitter, with a long duration.
