The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

I was really surprised by this beer. Nice "belgium" aroma, great taste of hops and fruits. A bit bitter, a bit sweet, very well balanced. One of my most favorite beers of all times.

Big egg-white-foam-meringue-like head atop a golden hued liquid beneath. The head lasts forever and leaves a ton of lacing after it finally starts falling. Sugary, yeasty aroma, with hints of malt and lemon. Malty, sugary taste. A little bitterness. Sweet finish with a slight dryness. Not bad.

pours a slightly cloudy yellow with sediment floating and huge amount of white head.lacing is very nice.aromas of sour apple malt and yeast.flavours of banana clove and malt.fizzy carbonation and a long astingent finish.belgium ales are my favorite style and this came hightly recommended but to me its just average.guess its just what you enjoy but would like to see a little more complex flavours and to have the alchohol stand out more.

Bottle. Pours clear gold/copper with thick, frothy white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is belgian yeast, cloves, floral hops, and sweet malt. Flavor is sweet malt forward, banana, cloves, and floral hops; dry finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

Light copper colour with a bright bubbly head. Inviting, with intense apple, fruit, and general refreshing aromas. High intensity with a medium body and a medium aftertaste. Sweet, but very strong with an alcohol taste. Feels microcarbonated, well balanced, and refreshing. Appreciated
