The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

Not as good as the Nocturnum, but a good, strong Belgian nonetheless. Very yeasty but in a good way.

Pours a cloudy hay colored gold with a thick foamy head. Taste is yeasty with hints of banana and clove. Very satisfying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells like freshly baked bread with a big yeast presence. Color is a pale golden straw with plenty of bubbles. Fizzy in the mouth like champagne and not too sweet or dry. A complex, slightly sour yeast flavor with hints of citrus and grape. Well-balanced, if a bit overrated.

Strong citrus taste with slight grain notes. There is a pleasant, bitter finish which is mimicked by the aftertaste. Very light and heavily carbonated. Feels close to seltzer water. Very refreshing. O: Great balance of complexity and drinkability. I really enjoyed this and would certainly drink it again.

Looks pale, small foamy head, strong carbonisation. Aroma is decent, thick, yeasty, you feel different things at different moments. Fruits, some spices, banana and melon. Everything succumbs into a mouth-drying sensation - that is not bitter, by the way. Decadent beer to have before lunchtime on a sunny terrace.

tap. Golden with minimal head. Great aroma. Sweet body with interesting spice. Classic and unique flavor.

Very slight haziness in the golden body with a thick white head. Fruity aroma of apples, orange, lemon, grape. Slight bitter taste, oily texture but some spiciness cuts it. Nice beer. Dont love the bottle.
