4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear deep gold color, exceptionally effervescent, with half an inch of white foam. Decent spidery lacing. Sweet fruit-bubblegum aroma, very nice.
Somewhat bready flavor, full of dry spice (coriander, clove), yeast, and noticeably alcoholic. Tart but not bitter finish, more lik citrus rind than hops. Bitter orange alcohol (neither thick nor sweet) in the aftertaste. I love the sparkly carbonation in the mouthfeel.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap served in a DT snifter. Presents a slightly hazy, golden-orange hue beneath a paper thin bone-white head. Pleasant, but reserved aromas are noted of ripe apricots, apples, bananas, clover honey and fresh cut lemon. A pleasing tongue-tickling spritz is noted on the palate, but finishes slightly thin and watery. Clean, crisp, balanced flavors of citrus hard candies (orange, lemon and pineapple), bananas, yeast, spices, fresh-baked bread and caramel malts are enjoyed. Alcohol is deceivingly warming; hard to detect. Overall nothing to do back-flips over, but a solid, classy Belgian for sure.

Golden unclear with a white head. Aroma and taste of yeast-wheat, spices & fruits - citrus. Hoppy end and a little sweetness from malts. Warmth from alcohol. Medium carbonated. Very good and pleasant Belgium Tripel!

3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Heavy carbonation, lasting head and a beer that I get excited about when I drink it. A good entry beer into Belgium beers.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the Bryant Lake Bowl. Blonde in color with an inch high head of white foam. Strong lemon aroma with a lot of peppery spiciness happening, and a bit of sugary bread dough. Tastes of citrus, pineapple, orange rind, and some yeasty funk in the back. Ends with a sourdough flavor. Very nice and pleasant to drink.

3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Apearance is quite nice with he contrast of the golden cloudiness and the white foamy head. The flavor will vary from batch to batch but generally a hint of candy, spice and fruit. The depth of the beer falls a bit short with an ending that finishes to fast for a sweet Belgium for me. All in all it is still worth trying and maybe comming back to now and again.
